Series: Give Me #3
 Author: Kate McCarthy
 Release Date: July 10, 2014

SYNOPSIS

Casey Daniels has a past forged in Hell. Despite the friends, the endless supply of women, and the muscle car he spent years restoring, it still eats away at him.
Grace Paterson is in Sydney as a temporary bassist for Jamieson, the band Casey handles security for. She’s also infuriating, off-limits, and completely irresistible.
A deal is struck, and despite their intense and powerful connection, both think it will be easy to walk away. But life can be more ruthless than either of them ever imagined. Not only does Grace have a secret she’s desperate to keep, Casey has questions from his past that he’s willing to do anything to get answers for.
It’s not until someone wants one of them dead that Casey realises his love for Grace is the one thing he could never walk away from.
In a story of revenge, betrayal, secrets, and love, Casey will need to reconcile his past with his present, before the future he never knew he wanted is snatched away.

The Badass Brigade is back and Casey Daniels FINALLY gets his book! I have been intrigued and completely smitten with Casey from book one in this series. I just knew he was going to have an amazing story to share with us, Kate McCarthy did not disappoint at all with the latest installment in her Give Me Series.

He's hot, he's sexy, he's a gun carrying, totally kick-ass private security agent. But beyond that lies a beautifully flawed and real man with a past that has left him completely shattered and searching for answers.

Grace Paterson is an international model that's come home to help her brother's band out of a jam. I loved how she was written, she was tough, smart mouthed, and of course, gorgeous.

This book really was, for me, the total package. It was nice and long with a meaty story line that you can really sink your teeth into. Funny, sexy, dramatic and lots of heart pounding, edge of your seat moments. Give Me Grace was a 5 star read for me. All I have to say to Ms. McCarthy is, GIVE ME MORE!

I have mad book love right now. It’s serious too. I ignored my responsibilities to start reading Give Me Grace. Then I stayed up half the night to finish it. And now I can’t stop thinking about it. Because it wasn’t just funny. And it wasn’t just sweet. And it wasn’t just suspenseful. It was all of those things, and it was more. It was frustrating (in the best way, of course), emotional, surprising and sexy as hell. Because Casey.... Mmm, Casey. *Sigh*

Casey Daniels has an amazing group of friends, a job that is as rewarding as it is difficult and a wickedly hot car. But he also has a past that he can’t forget, even if he wanted to. He’s been to Hell and back – in fact, some days, it seems like he is still there. Grace Paterson is beautiful, stubborn and in Sydney to stand in for Jamieson’s injured bassist. She has a secret she wants to hide, at all costs. Casey and Grace aren’t supposed to want each other – Grace is off-limits and Casey has too much past for him to believe that he deserves a future. The solution seems simple – a deal that allows them to share a few weeks together and then walk away, with neither one hurt. But the reality is complicated. When someone wants to see them suffer, Casey realises that holding on to Grace is more important that holding on to the past. And if they can get through the secrets, the betrayal and the danger, maybe the future that once seemed impossible may just become possible.

Sometimes a secondary character jumps out at you from the page, demanding attention and stealing your heart. That was Casey Daniels for me. In Give Me Love and especially in Give Me Strength, he was book perfection. He was distracting, disarming and a little bit mysterious. He deserved his own story – his own HEA – and I am so, so happy that he got it.

Give Me Grace was addicting from page one. It picks up with a little bit of overlap from the end of the previous book, and immediately turns things on its head. Neither Casey nor Grace were what I was expecting, in the best possible way. They were complicated. They hurt. They couldn’t get it together. I thought at 30% I knew where the story was headed and it was giving me pangs – I wanted to be able to love on Casey without interruption – but I didn’t. I had no clue and that was refreshing. I read through page after page trying to solve the mystery, to work out how it was going to play out and in the end, I just had to sit back and enjoy the ride.

I loved the movement of the story – the back and forth POVs from Casey and Grace, the way their story progressed. It was never stagnant or boring. There was always something happening, no matter how big or small it seemed, that played into an ending that made me well up as it made me smile. I won’t elaborate but it has me salivating for the next book – it can’t come soon enough.

All my favourite characters from the previous books put in an appearance, bringing the laughs and the heart, plus a few new ones I am intrigued to hear more about. But the very best part of this book? Casey. Just Casey. Read this series and get to know him and you know exactly what I mean. I said *sigh*, but did I also mention *swoon*? Because yeah, there was definite swooning....
Give Me Grace is the third book in the Give Me series and could be read as a standalone but you’d be doing yourself a disservice. Read them all. Fall in love.

5+++++ Stars

Wow, I'm left speechless on how Amazing this book was!! I've been staring at my laptop screen for a while trying to find the correct words to describe this Unbelievably Amazing Book. There is so much emotion in this book that you can't help but fall in love with the characters, especially Casey & Grace... I really appreciated that it's told in both of their POV's because we get to see how each one feels when they face the same situation together. I will only write the bare minimum because I don't want to spoil this book but I want others to enjoy it the way I did and boy did I ever enjoy it!!

When we first meet Grace, you think she's just a another pretty face..blah blah blah. But then when her back is against the wall we get to see the fierceness she has in her come out and fight. She does not allow herself to be another person to be walked over. Reading about her childhood broke my heart because she gave it up to be able to help her family, even when she was trying to cope with a major loss in her life.

When I met Casey I immediately thought not another man-whore, but I was very wrong. Yes he did show the signs, but like anyone that has been dealt a sucky hand at life, there was a reason he acted the way he did. Like Grace, Casey has gone through a major loss in his life and he's trying to get to the bottom of it, resorting to any tactic that will get him the answer he's been looking for.

Let's say that when Casey & Grace meet for the first time, they are automatically drawn to each other, that is until they open their mouth and then the sparks disappear...The banter between Grace and Casey is hilariously funny, exciting, passionate, sizzling sex scenes, sarcastic, sweet, loving and did I mention passionate already?

For some reason Casey attracts danger to himself and of course, because he is Grace's security, she experiences that danger as well. Not everyone is happy that they are a couple and both of their lives are in danger, but Casey will do whatever is necessary to protect Grace from any harm. Kate threw in some curve balls that had me gasping and brought tears to my eyes because to be honest, I didn't see them coming. Once you start reading it you will not want to put it down. It will suck you in until you get your answers!

Like I mentioned already, this book was Unbelievably Amazing and had just the right amount of emotion throughout it. I cannot wait for what else Kate McCarthy has in store for us. All I can say is, Bring It On Kate McCarthy :-)

Oh Casey, you sexy, bada$$, alpha male!! You have just been bumped to the top of my BBF list! Ms. McCarthy has done it again! Give Me Grace was a 5++++ star read. This book had it all – laughter, tears, action, twists & turns, love and steamy sex!! Casey and Grace were a perfect combination! And I loved seeing all the other characters from the previous Give Me books as well as being introduced to new characters.
I cannot get enough of Kate’s writing! I love her style. She always writes from the two main characters POVs so you can see the same situation from both Grace and Casey’s perspective, and sometimes she includes other characters’ perspectives as well. I look forward to the next installment of the Give Me series! All that is left to say is read this book NOW!!! You will not be disappointed!!
