There's just something about the Mayson men—those growly, stubborn, protective Alpha men—that makes my heart pitter-patter. I loved the brothers in the original series, the Until series, and I see it being no different with their sons, especially after this delicious encounter with Jax, son of Until Lilly’s Cash.
BOOM! That's how it goes when Jax Mayson sees Ellie Anthony for the first time. He didn't believe the tales his father and uncles had told him about that magic moment, until Ellie. Now, he never wants to let her go.
Ellie has been through hell, and she's not on her own, either. She has a young daughter to consider too. When Jax gives her the safety and security she needs to move on, she's reluctant to accept it, but grateful nonetheless. It doesn’t hurt that her attraction to Jax is intense and instantaneous.
But what will happen when the pasts both Ellie and Jax thought they'd left behind come back to haunt them? Will the BOOM be enough to keep them together, forever?
First, I can't believe I missed Until July!! Rectifying that, ASAP, especially since knowing what happened there may have made Until Jax a touch easier to follow along with. Not that it was hard—I managed with no real trouble, and still loved the characters and the story. But I hate that I missed one of Aurora Rose Reynold’s sexy men, and maybe seeing poor Asher have a heart attack as his little girl finds lurve…
Second, I want Jax Mayson. I'm one step away from making serious grabby hands for him. He was exactly what I've come to expect from the men in this family—stubborn, bossy, annoying (as Ellie so rightly calls him, often), sexy, lickable and all-together panty melting. I'll admit that there's many similarities between the books that make up the Mayson families series’, not the least of which is the over-the-top ways the men care for their women, but I don't mind it, AT ALL. Because these guys, including yummy Jax, make me kinda swoony, and these books leave me feeling all mushy and good inside.
And that's why I'll always come back for more when it comes to the Until series and its spin-offs. No matter the words that make up the inside, I know these books are going to make me fall in love with reading all over again—because they’re fun, they're playful and they're very sexy. And my heart loves the way they make me feel.

Like all the other Mayson men, Jax has finally met his BOOM and she literally came out of nowhere. Ellie has been through hell, and all in the hands of her mother, yet now that she's caught Jax's attention, she will never again have to live in that hell. Her life—and the life of her daughter—has changed and she doesn't even know it…
Jax never thought he would succumb like the other men in his family but now that Ellie and Hope are in his life he will do anything to keep them there and safe. I love me a good alpha and boy, was Jax one of them. His possessive ways had me getting all squirmy and hot and bothered, and I could not wait until I was able to relieve that ache!!!
As Jax makes sure to let Ellie know that he's all in, Ellie is still unsure because of her past with trusting people but whoa, the things Jax does to assure her were so sweet and SO damn hot!
There is some mystery in trying to find the guy that hurt Ellie but rest assured the Mayson Men are on it! There’s drama (damn exes—they should know they are exes for a reason), humor and sweetness, especially having a baby girl like Hope!
If you’re looking for a hot, sweet, sexy read this is the one for you. Beware panties are optional especially when it comes to the Mayson Men.

The Mayson men and women have been raised to believe in the BOOM. Jax finally feels it when he lays eyes on Ellie, the first night he meets her. Adding a daughter into the mix just makes Jax’s feelings intensify—he’s going to protect them at any cost, and by any means necessary. Now, if he could only get Ellie to believe he’s sincere and just wants her.
Ellie Anthony is overwhelmed. She’s not looking for love or a man. She’s just looking to keep herself and her daughter, Hope, safe and secure. Until she meets Jax. Jax is gorgeous and a known heartbreaker. He wants to protect her and Hope, but is her heart safe with him too?
Jax. Sigh. He’s found his BOOM. These Mayson’s, especially the men, don’t give up easily. Jax certainly doesn’t—he’s going to convince Ellie she’s his, come hell or high water. And Hope is just the icing on the cake—Jax didn’t really give much thought to having a family until he met Ellie and Hope, now family—his own family—is all he can think about.
And Ellie. She’s been on her own for so long. Unable to trust anyone but herself. Now she’s surrounded by Jax and his family and she just doesn’t know what to do with herself. They’ve all taken her and Hope under their wing—and will protect them with all their might. But Ellie’s having some difficulty letting down the shields around her heart, because she’s been let down time after time.
I love the stories about this family. Sure, it’s instalove, but honestly, who cares? They’re great characters with plenty of *ahem* action to keep your interest and of course, you have to know how they reach their happily ever after. Looking forward to June’s story next! Have a feeling Asher is going to go on the warpath! I. Can’t. Wait.
