Review & Giveaway - Beautiful Beginning by Christina Lauren

Title: Beautiful Beginning

Author: Christina Lauren

  Release Date: November 19, 2013

Back when not being able to stand each other also meant not being able to keep their hands off each other in Beautiful Bastard, neither Bennett nor Chloe could have seen this day coming.

An exasperated bride who just wants to elope. A determined groom whose only focus is getting to the wedding night. And—of course—a whole lot of name calling.

"I think your mouth is its own Greek God. Tongueseus."

My 5 Star review!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...what authors Christina Lauren do sets the bar for how books in a series should be written! This novella is very bittersweet as we're saying goodbye to so many amazing characters. Throughout the whole series, we're introduced to Bennett and Chloe in Beautiful Bastard, Max and Sara in Beautiful Stranger, and Will and Hanna in Beautiful Player. This novella is the culmination of Bennett and Chloe's steamy love affair, as well as the ending...or rather, the Beginning of each of the other two couples' exciting future. If you haven't read this series, please don't read the rest of the review...no spoilers, but you definitely don't want to miss out on any of the events leading up to this final instalment.

Bennett and Chloe are getting married. Should be simple, right?! Plan. Show up. Get hitched. Well, not if you're Bennett and Chloe. She wants to leave the stress of wedding plans and just elope, he wants to abstain until their wedding night. Challenge begrudgingly accepted by Chloe. In true Bastard and Bitch fashion, the events that ensue as these two reach their wedding day is hysterical...and downright steamy considering Bennett's no-sex-until-we're-married rule. Chloe decides to takes matters into her own hands (both literally and figuratively) as she pulls out all the stops to get Bennett to cave. And it's no picnic for Bennett, either, but he's no quitter, and has a few of his own tricks up his sleeve to ward off his very persistent bride-to-be.

"Bennett Ryan was a swoony fucking bastard, and tonight - stupid chastity rule or not - I was going to ride him like a horse."

If I'm going to deeply connect with a book, character, storyline, etc...I want snark, humor, steam and hot men reduced to little boys when it comes to the women they love (and this book delivered)! Don't get me wrong by calling Bennett, Max and Will little boys...there is nothing little about them, I just LOVE what these incredibly sexy men do to worship the ground these ladies walk on.

We know Bennett through this series as a man who gets what he wants, when he wants it. And all he wants to do is marry Chloe.

"I wanted to be exactly what she'd always pictured her husband to be."

Just because this book is a novella, there is absolutely nothing left out. I am sad to say goodbye to all of these characters that I have grown to love. Each of these hysterical characters have stolen pieces of my heart. I have loved this entire series from the first page to the last. And these books will stay with me for a very long time.

Christina & Lauren, you chicks rock my world!

Christina and Lauren, a writing duo who have been swooning over romance novels for as long as they can remember, are the authors of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, Beautiful Bitch, Beautiful Bombshell, Beautiful Player, and Beautiful Beginning from Gallery Books. Separated by the pesky state of Nevada, these co-author besties speak several times a day, agree that Ruby Pumps is the best nail polish color ever, and would, if given the choice, spend all day staring at the ocean from the San Clemente pier.  You can find them online at ChristinaLaurenBooks.com or at @seeCwrite and @lolashoes on Twitter.
