Blog Tour - One Night: Unveiled by Jodi Ellen Malpas

Title: One Night: Unveiled
Series: One Night #3
Author: Jodi Ellen Malpas
Publisher: Forever Romance
Release Date: February 10, 2015

A life without secrets and a passion without end... The story of Livy and M's passionate love affair comes to a stunning conclusion in the final book in the One Night trilogy!

Livy has never known pure desire like this. The gorgeous Miller Hart captivates her, seduces her, and worships her in deliciously sinful ways. He knows her innermost thoughts, drawing her ever deeper into his dangerous world.

Miller will do anything to keep Livy safe, even if it means risking his own life. But his dark history isn't the only thing that threatens their future together. As the truth of Livy's family legacy unravels, an unsettling parallel between past and present comes to light. Her world spinning out of control, Livy finds herself caught between the rapture of an all-consuming love-and a deadly obsession that could destroy them both . . .

Jodi Ellen Malpas, you gave us Jesse Ward and I never thought you could top him...Well, you did. Ladies, meet your next book boyfriend. Some know him as the special one, and some know him as the psychotic, OCD-suffering, ex-homeless ex-hooker/escort. By the end of this book this will NOT be what you are calling him.

I felt so emotional diving in to the conclusion of Miller and Olivia.  Jodi has a writing style that sucks you in. You know how sometimes, when something is happening in your life that is so crazy and so wanted at the same time, you block everything else out around you and just exist in your moment? That is the way I felt reading this entire series. I was consumed by this story; I blocked everything else around me out.  I wasn't worried about dinner or laundry or dirty dishes in the sink. I was in my crazy, erratic and extremely erotic bubble with Miller . . . and for the record I was enjoying every fucking minute of it.

I finally got to see a side of him in this book that I always knew he had.  Not the OCD whack job that some see, but the compassionate and loving man I always knew to be Miller Hart. The man that would die to protect Olivia.

There are quotes repeated throughout this book and instead of thinking, he said that again?, you are thinking, *sigh* say it again please.

“Never stop loving me, Olivia Taylor.”

“Give me my thing.”

I will NEVER look or think about the word “thing” the same way ever again. I will always think of Miller Hart when I see it.

Miller doesn't show his love and appreciation in words very often; in fact, it took three books to do it, but when he finally does profess his love to Olivia it is the best confession I have ever read.

“I love her!” he roars, knocking every person back in the room.  “I fucking love her!”  Tears burst from my eyes and I fall into his side.  He immediately grabs me and pulls me close.  “I love her. I love everything she stands for and . . .”

Wanna hear the rest? READ THE BOOK!

In the end, make sure you have a not-so-favorite shirt on because I gave this book a level three for crying. Plan on your sleeves being covered in snot and tears. It is a beautiful ending. I think one of my favorite lines comes at the end.

“Good. Now get me out of this fucking elevator.”

If you have read the first two books, you understand. If you haven't, I would suggest you read them first. You are going to want to experience all things Miller before you end this journey.

Not surprisingly, I give One Night: Unveiled 5 amazing stars. First Jesse and now, Miller. Jodi, I want to set up fucking camp in your brain for a week; I'm bringing a toothbrush, a blanket and some strawberries.
