Review - Trust by Ella Frank

Title: Trust
Series: Temptation #3
Author: Ella Frank
Release Date: May 2, 2015

TRUST – verb: to believe in the reliability, truth, or strength of another.

Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.

Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.

It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.

The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.

It’s time to let someone inside.

After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.

The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.

Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.

Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily…

Wow. I have one word for you, one word that sums up my feelings about this book, this series, this couple, this author.

Yes.

Am I done? Yes. Does that make me a wee bit sad? Yes. Would I read more, if Ms. Frank wrote more? Yes.

Scrap that last one. That should have been a HELL yes. Because damn it, I'm every bit as in love with Logan and Tate as I was before I read Trust. Actually, more so.

Normally, this is the part where I give you my take on the synopsis. A few words to try to describe the story, but honestly, nothing I say here could possibly do justice to this remarkable book. Plus, you know, spoilers... You don't want that, and neither do I. So I'll stick with telling how this book made me feel.

Amazing. Depraved. Dirty. Happy. Sad. Hopeful. Hurt. Good. Bad. And everything in between. When I say that Trust gave me all the feels, I do mean all the feels. This was a beautifully written, rawly felt, intimate and real look at what is it to love someone; to challenge them, to grow with them, to fight with them and to fight for them. The tension came from a very honest place -- the place where you learn to put your trust and your belief in another person, and hope that they won't abuse it. And that you won't lose it somehow.

Oh, Logan and Tate. From the gorgeous, heartfelt dedication, to the apt, rewarding final page, you had me hook, line and sinker. Do you I love you both and wish you were real, and that I could experience half the love that flows off these pages?
