Review - Sinfully Mine by Kendall Ryan

Title: Sinfully Mine
Series: Lessons with the Dom #2
Author: Kendall Ryan
Release Date: July 14, 2015

She was forbidden.

I didn’t care.

As my best friend’s little sister, Macey Hale was off-limits, but the girl was tempting as sin and forbidden as fuck. I wish I could say that stopped me. I wish I could tell you I behaved like a gentleman.

I didn’t.

When she waltzes back into my life with that same spark I fell for, looking every bit the beautiful woman I knew she’d grow into, I have to force myself to remember I’m different from the man she once knew. I’m colder. Harder. And for good reason.
With my heart on lockdown and my hands aching to touch her, I set out to prove that I can keep myself in check this time.

No strings. No attachments.

And definitely no falling for her again.

If you love steamy romance, you won't want to miss this older brother's best friend romance.

This is book two in the Lessons with the Dom series, following The Gentleman Mentor. Both are complete standalone novels featuring sexy Dominant men you're sure to fall in love with. Enjoy!

What could be better than a forbidden love story? How about a best friend’s little sister love story, with a bit of kinky BDSM thrown in? Forbidden love is one of my weaknesses and with some BDSM – yes please!

Sinfully Mine is the second book in the Lessons with the Dom series and focuses on Reece and Macey. Reece is the owner of Crave, the BDSM club, as well as the best friend of Cameron Hale from the first book, The Gentleman Mentor. Macey is Hale’s little sister.

“He’s the man I measured all others against and the reason no one has ever measured up.”

Six years previously they were in love with one another, but life interrupted and they moved on. Well maybe… As soon as they see each other again, the chemistry is magnetic.

“What I want, sweetheart is you naked, bound, and spread open before me, your wrists laced together with my rope, your ankles pinned with my spreader bad. Your c--t waiting for me to fill it. You will be used as I see fit.”

I absolutely loved Macey. She is feisty, sassy, and funny.

“Yes, my sexless BDSM training. Sounds like a blast.”
“It’s not his business who I let near my vagina.”

I thought that she was the perfect mix of sexy and sweet and just what Reece needed. Reece was a Dom, who just needed to be shown what he truly wanted.

I loved how much we got to see of Hale and Brielle in this story as well. The epilogue was fantastic! I really enjoyed both stories in the series. Ms. Ryan sure knows how to write a sexy, sweet, funny, panty-melting, must read story!

She was forbidden in every way so he did what he needed to forget her and move on...until she's standing inside his BDSM club, Crave. Back then, there was no way Reece was going to confess his love for Macey, she being sixteen and him, nineteen. And besides, he didn't believe in love due to the example that had been set for him. Needless to say, that is why he has his BDSM club; a place for people like himself to lose themselves in or with someone, without the complication of a relationship and feelings getting involved.

I loved reading how Reece, despite being a man in control, really had no control when it came to his heart, and how it still felt for Macey even after all these years! The chemistry between both of them was Scorching Hot and had me questioning if I should have worn panties at all while reading their story.

They do have the Hale "bump" which they have to get over, but simply put, they have more people on their side than against them. A sexy read with some angst but also plenty of romance and SEX!!!

To say I was keen to get my hands on this book would be an understatement. I loved The Gentleman Mentor, and I love brother's best friend romances, so this one just screamed "WINNER!" And it was…

Reece Jackson fell for his best friend's little sister once before. Before he was the cool, controlled Dominant he is today. Now, she's back in town and as forbidden -- and as beautiful -- as ever.

He can't fall for her again; not with the walls he has around his heart. If they're going to do it, it's going to be emotionless. Except that's easier said than done when it comes to Macey Hale.

There's some seriously sizzling moments in Sinfully Mine. And that's to be expected, because *whew* Reece is a delight. Charming, strong and with a normally steely resolve, it's easy to fall for his character on the surface. The walls he built around his heart made him come across, to me, not as hurt but as callous at times, and I did struggle with that. I honestly felt a little torn; most of the time, I just wanted to love him but there was one point where I wanted to spank him -- and not in the good, sexy way.

Macey, on the other hand, I loved. From start to finish, she was an easy to root for heroine. She was determined and she was invested. I loved that she stood up for herself, despite being cast in a submissive role, and I loved that she was able to call the shots when needed. Macey had power. Quiet power, but power nonetheless.

Sinfully Mine was a very fast read. One sweet, enjoyable sitting and I was done. It was mostly angst-light, with some genuinely swoonworthy, amusing and panty-melting moments, and a some excellent cameos from The Gentleman Mentor's Hale and Brielle. In fact, Hale's reactions to this pairing were some of the highlights for me. Oh, and that epilogue.

I’m excited about what (I think) is to come in the Lessons with the Dom series. Screwed can’t come soon enough, and with Oliver as the hero, I think Ms. Ryan is definitely on another WINNER...
