Love and hate aren’t all that different.

Two sides of the same coin, the yin and the yang.

Once upon a time, Jason Ross loved me. And now that he knows what I’ve done, I see the love and the hate warring within him.

I see the way he looks at me.

The way he wonders how I could do the things I’ve done.

I hear it in the way he begs me to stop, to leave this life and run away with him.

But there’s only one way I’m leaving LA.

And that’ll be when Dornan and the rest of his sons are dead and buried.

Jase might forgive me for what I’ve done.

But will he forgive me for the crimes I’m yet to commit?

Two months was a long wait for this book! My goodness I couldn't contain myself when this sucker was on my kindle this morning! Five Miles just about killed me with the way it ended. Four Score almost did me in too!

Once again we are immersed in Juliette's plan for vengeance. This one has a little different vibe to it though. While it fits in perfectly with the series so far we get a bit more info on Juliette and Jase's back-story, which I loved!

Of course it's another cliffhanger, this series does keep you wanting more. Now I will twiddle my thumbs and count down the days on my calendar until the next book in July!

OMFG.....

Since this is my first review of the Gypsy Brothers series, let me go over my reactions to the previous stories as I finished them (I read them all one day when I *supposed* to be washing clothes and tidying up).

Seven Sons – Wow, that was awesome. I’m definitely going to read the next one. Like, right now.

Six Brothers – Geez, I can’t believe that one was EVEN better... I’d better fold the nappies before I read Five Miles. Fuck it, I’m reading the next one. Like, right now.

Five Miles – (hands pressed to the sides of my face) What. The. Fuck? That was... It’s just... I need... JESUS! I need the next one. Like, right now.

Four Sons – (falls down dead)

Ok, I obviously DIDN’T actually fall down dead, but I was bloody close. JULY. I have to wait until July for more. July, the month of my birth and, as a consequence, the month that traditionally seems to take the longest time to get here. Uugh. Now, if you don’t know the story, I’ll give you the barest overview but then you’re on your own. You NEED to go read these books. Julianne is out for revenge against Dornan Ross, six of his seven sons and the Gypsy Brothers MC. They wronged her – in the worse possible ways (yes, ways) – and she’ll stop at nothing to bring them down. Or, at least, that was before she fell for Jase, the seventh son. Now, she may have to choose between love and vengeance.

I don’t usually read dark romance – mainly because I can’t handle the emotions – but this series hooked me immediately. It’s so well written. You think you know what’s coming and then...BAM... The concept is matched by the execution. It’s not melodramatic or meandering. Every single thing written serves a purpose and helps shape the characters, good or bad. Julz/Julianne/Sammi is a fine example of an anti-heroine. The things she does, is willing to do, for her vengeance should be really off-putting but it’s practically impossible to not root for her.  Four Score felt like a slight change of pace for this series - the finish line seems to have moved since the (SPOILER, nooooo!) – but that doesn’t change the fact that the Gypsy Brothers series gets better with every new release. This book had less straight-up revenge, focusing more on the aftermath of the events from previous installments and setting up for the fallout that’s inevitable, but it was still sheer brilliance. It’s impossible to say why with giving out MAJOR spoilers, and it would be a crime to ruin these books, but trust me when I say that the end of Four Score will leave your heart pounding, your blood pumping and your mind racing. And maybe even make you fall to the floor...

This is the fourth book in the Gypsy Brothers series and IS NOT a standalone book. There’s one hell of a cliffhanger waiting for you (god, and it’s sooo good!)

OMG! I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! Lili St. Germain kills it every time! Sammi/Julz gets very sloppy in this book and this causes all sorts of drama. But the ending it what is killing me!

I cannot wait for July 21st! I have a feeling Three Years is gonna be the best one! Gah! Read this series. You will not be disappointed if you like Dark Romances. I give this whole series 4.5 stars. I’ll be patiently waiting for what brings the darkness and pain.
