Oh man! That blurb! I'm a total sucker for friends to lovers romances. Even better when they're childhood best friends. This book is so juicy and epic. This is my first read from Leigh Ann Lunsford and I'm definitely going to be checking more by her in the future. We meet our main characters, Lucas and Phoebe, when they're just little kids. We watch them grow into teens, and then adulthood. But one thing is always constant, they love each other. Even through all the bumps in the road they face. I really don't want to go into too much detail about this story because there's more than meets the eye to it. It's a book you don't only have to read, but have to experience. Brise will make you mad, make you want to throw your kindle in frustration, rip your heart right out of your chest and, then put it right back in. Beware, ugly cry moments ahead. This book puts your emotions through the proverbial wringer and that's exactly the books I love to read. Brise is told in Lucas and Phoebe's first person POVS. And you'll be happy to know it's a standalone with no cliffhanger. Gorgeous, moving and powerful, this gets 5 Stars from me. ~Erin, 5 Stars

Second chances at true love… is there anything better? Always You was such a sweet, romantic, sexy story about taking a chance on the one who you were always meant to be with. 

Stephanie had a crush on Lucas for the last three years of college. He was a fantastic friend to her, but she always wanted more. 

“He was a true friend in every sense, except for the fact I would spend half of our time together fantasizing how it would feel to explore his mouth with my tongue.” 

Never having the courage to tell him, Stephanie and Lucas say good-bye when he leaves for a job in California.

Flash-forward some years and when Lucas Facebook friends her, she jumps at the chance to become friends again. A seemingly simple friendship quickly becomes more. 

“I know I’m not supposed to think about you all day long. I know I’m not supposed to want to talk to you every minute of the day, or touch you, or kiss you. The relationship between Lucas and Bella was one of my favorite parts of this book. I was so thankful that Lucas showed Bella how a man is supposed to be. This story had the perfect blend of romance, drama, sexiness, and love. Find out if Stephanie settles for her current life or if she finally gets her happily ever after.

I have to wonder if bachelor auctions happen in real life, and if they do, where they are...because I'd really like to pick up a Gabriel Morales for myself.

When Gabriel is 'bought' for Molly, their one night together unlocks a passion that is irresistible and has them both questioning the future. One Night with her Bachelor was sweet and fun, with a touch of humor and some serious feels thrown in for good measure. I really enjoyed reading this book, so much so that I kind of forgot myself and just keep reading through to the end. There's my Saturday gone...but not wasted. Definitely not wasted. 

I loved Gabriel and Molly. They were a charming couple, both prideful and needing help, one able to ask for and accept it, one still trying to learn how. Gabriel, in particular, was wonderful with his questionable woodworking skills and big-heart hidden behind a gruff, hands-off exterior. I felt for what he'd experienced and lost, and I wanted him to own up to what he wanted and needed. And damn, when he danced, I swooned. Is it any wonder I want him for my own?

I'm hoping this is just the beginning of a new series for Kat Latham. I want to know more about Lily and the bachelor she bid on -- there has to be a story there... I'm a sucker for Ms. Latham's work, having picked this one up without even reading the blurb, and once again, she delivered a story full of life and humor and real people. Can you blame me for wanting more?

When It's Right is pretty much everything I love about cowboys. Wide open spaces, trickling creeks, rolling mountains, horses, strong, sassy women and sexy, Alpha men. 

After making a life-or-death decision, Gillian Tucker makes her way to the open skies and beautiful mountains of Montana, and her grandfather's ranch. She's wary and on guard, unsure and untrusting, and meeting Blake Bowden isn't exactly what she had in mind for her new life. 

Blake is tall, dark and handsome, and he scares her -- but not in the way to which she's grown accustomed. He makes her feel safe and dream of a brighter future, and that's all Blake wants. To protect this girl, no matter the cost to himself. 

When danger makes its way back to her, he vows to do whatever it takes to keep it from her, and he's willing to gamble his heart, his job and his life to do it. 

I have to say, I was surprised by this book. I enjoyed book one in this series, very much. It was suspenseful and interesting, and Gabe was fantastic, but damn, he's been overshadowed here by his younger brother, Blake. When It's Right was excellent. Well-written and well-paced, it took what could be construed as a "whirlwind" romance and made it believable and, even better, desirable. I wanted Gillian and Blake to get there, to their happily ever after. They deserved it, and it made the journey all the sweeter. 

Gillian was a remarkable character. I loved her strength, her balls and her brains. She was no willing flower, no martyr to her past. Yes, she had issues and yes, she struggled with them, but she lived true to her word and tried, and I admired the character, as well as the author for making this young woman so easy to root for. She was a good match for Blake, who was mmm, yummy with his protectiveness, his openness and his Alphaness. I'll admit that the age difference briefly gave me pause and that Blake's backstory felt a touch out-of-place at times, but I can't deny that Gillian and Blake were stronger together, and her maturity and his willingness to be what she needed made it work in a beautiful way. 

I can't wait to read more of these Montana Men and I am hoping I don't have to for too long. Dane's story needs to be told and I need to read it, especially if it's another cowboy book just like this one.
