I was a little skeptical when I
started reading Before We Fall but I
must say Courtney Cole did not disappoint me; she made me fall in love with
Dominic and Jacey!!
Dominic prefers to lose himself to the
characters he plays instead of losing himself to love. That is one game that he
NEVER plans to lose to again. I couldn't understand really why he was a cold
hearted a** at times but as I kept reading, I put the pieces together and by
the time the puzzle was complete, I was left with my mouth wide open!!
Jacey is sweet, innocent but not so wise.
She’s always making decisions that not only affect her but those around her.
The first time she meets Dominic she feels she really sees through him and into
the darkness that he hides from the world. Jacey tries hard to make Dominic see
that he is worth loving and being loved, no matter what's happened in his past,
but the pain and darkness in his life are more powerful than Jacey.
Dominic continually tells Jacey he’s
no good for her and that he can’t give her what she wants but she refuses to
see that...until he takes her to an event and she finally realizes that, this
time, Dominic might actually be right. The best way I can describe the
interaction between Dominic and Jacey is like oil and water; you never know
which one will end up on top!
This beautiful story of Beauty and the Beast had my emotions all
over the place and yes, there were tears of sadness, but there were also tears of
happiness. Oh, and the sexiness that oozed throughout the book had me fanning
myself!
Ms Cole, thank you for such an
emotionally beautiful love story of finding yourself, loving and allowing
yourself to be loved, and forgiving yourself so you can move forward. The epilogue
alone had me tearing up so thank you!! 5 Emotionally Sexy Stars

Courtney Cole is a novelist who would eat mythology for breakfast if she could. She has a degree in Business, but has since discovered that corporate America is not nearly as fun to live in as fictional worlds. She loves chocolate and roller coasters and hates waiting and rude people.
Courtney lives in quiet suburbia, close to Lake Michigan, with her real-life Prince Charming, her ornery kids (there is a small chance that they get their orneriness from their mother) and a small domestic zoo.
