I raised my cup to her. “Happy St. Patrick’s Day.”
She raised hers too and just before taking a sip, she stopped when she looked into the cup. “It’s green.”
I nodded. “Yeah, because it’s St. Patrick’s Day. They dye the river green.”
I waved toward the window even though we were nowhere near the Chicago River.
Tiffany frowned. “You know Blackburn isn’t my maiden name. It’s Ryan.”
“Okay,” I said and took a sip from the cup.
“Dying things green doesn’t mean it’s Irish.” She folded her arms in front of her chest, plumping up her tits. It caused me to stare. She was wearing a tank top, it would be impossible for me not to stare.
“Uh huh.” I nodded not really listening to what she was saying anymore.
“I’ll drink this beer because it’s beer and I’m thirsty, but know I do it in protest.” She pulled her hair back as she drank from the cup.
I watched her chest rise and fall in between sips.
She was so sexy, even drinking green beer while packing.
Tiffany drained the cup and let out a loud belch, slamming the cup down on the side table. She held up a finger and said, “One point.”
I blamed her son. David and Henrik expanded on the fart game they made up to include burps. Tiffany told me she was grossed out at first by the game but was gassy one night and decided to play. She’s been champion ever since.
“You know how sexy I find you when you release bodily gases,” I said as I blinked at her.
She smirked. “You’re just jealous because you can’t beat me.”
Tiffany picked up the tape dispenser. “David conveniently had to help his friend, Diego, with a class project. So, it’s just you and me moving the boxes when we finish packing up.”
“It might be more purposely, than conveniently.” I put my cup on her dresser and stepped closer as she finished sliding the tape along the seam of a box.
She put down the tape dispenser on the table and turned to me with her hands on her hips.
“Did you tell David to stay away on moving day?”
“Possibly,” I said slowly moving closer to her.
“Possibly?” Tiffany asked.
“Probably.”
I reached over and slid my hands around her waist.
“Probably?” She tilted her chin up and curled the corner of her sexy mouth.
“Definitely,” I said as I watched her eyes darken.
“Definit—” I cut her off as my hand cupped her neck and my mouth brushed over hers.
She tasted like madness and as my fingers slid over her skin, her shudder felt like the sweetest indulgence. I pushed her back onto the bed and dropped to my knees.
“You’re so easy,” I said as my fingers crawled slowly, but intently, until my hands had completely unbutton, unzipped, and pulled off her jeans.
Then I spread her legs.

My phone lit up next to me on the couch and I grabbed it, answering in a rush.
“David, what’s wrong?” My heart raced so fast I thought it might explode out of my chest.
“Uh, is this Tiffany?” a man’s voice I didn’t recognize responded.
“Yes, who is this?”
“I have a Jagger here who needs to speak to you. Hold one second.”
My heart, which had settled down the moment I realized David wasn’t on the phone, began to pick up the pace again. Why would Jagger be calling me? He made it clear he wanted nothing to do with us on Saturday.
I made sure to keep that information from David until the next day. I wanted him to enjoy his birthday. He was hurt but loved the Ninja Boy comics Jagger bought him for his birthday gift.
As for me, I cried a bit. Like a dork, I put the candy bracelet he got me under my pillow. It kept making weird crunching noises when I moved so I ended up cradling it next to my chest. Succumbing to the sugary smell, I chewed half of it. I fell asleep with bits of candy stuck to my lips and chin. When I woke in the morning, I realized it was too tempting having the thing in my bed.
It now sits on my dresser like a broken dream.
There were loud scraping noises and a boom before I heard Jagger’s voice.
“I got it, Benson. I got it.” There was a pause before he started to speak again, “It’s not Benson, then what’s your name? Leo? I’ve been calling you Benson the whole time!”
Jagger started to laugh. I wondered if he realized I was still on the phone.
“Jagger?” I said.
“Tiffany! Oh, sweet Tiffany. It’s so good to hear your voice.”
“Nice to hear from you. Is there something you needed?”
“You. I need to tell you something. But not here. This place is too grimy,” Jagger said and I heard some yelling in the background. “Sorry, Benson. Right, I mean Leo.”
This back and forth had to stop. It was hard to say goodbye to him. I admit the warmth in my body upon hearing his voice made me a little eager but was this just another goodbye? Did he need to have me sign another document only to walk away again?
“I’m coming over,” Jagger said.
“That’s really not necessary. Can’t you—”
He hung up.
I stood and went into the bathroom, inspecting my appearance. Running my fingers through my hair, I wondered if I should put it up. Maybe a little makeup or a skirt?
Leaning my hands on the gray marble countertop, I sighed. What was I doing? Jagger’s job was everything to him. It was selfish to expect him to risk so much for me.
The buzzer went off.
“Wow, that was quick,” I mumbled to myself.
I did one last once-over before leaving the bathroom and headed to the front door. Pressing the call button, I said, “Hello?”
“Sweet Tiffany.” I heard Jagger with clarity and trepidation.
Buzzing him inside the building, I waited. My hands fumbled with my fingers. My hair chose that moment to settle stray strands onto my cheek, then my nose, and every second I was pushing away another ticklish wisp.
I needed to do something so I went to my cabinet of delight in the kitchen and grabbed a lollipop. It was cherry and I could barely taste it thanks to my nerves.
Finally, there came a knock on my door.
Taking a deep breath and a hard suck, I made my way to the door and opened it. Jagger stood there, with his hands bracing the doorframe and his head hanging forward. When he lifted it, I noticed the normally disheveled brown hair was in even more disarray.
Even his red T-shirt had stains on it. There was a laziness to his eyes and when he let go of the doorframe, he stumbled forward, into me.
“Sorry. I’m sorry,” Jagger said as he clumsily worked himself out of our embrace.
That’s when I smelled him.
“Are you drunk?” I asked.
He stood straight, but swayed. He brought his finger and thumb together in front of us to pinch the air. “A lot. I’m a whole lotta drunk.”
Wonderful. Now I have to deal with a drunk man in my home.

Aria wrinkled her nose causing my smile to widen. “Do you own the building?”
She formed a circle with her hands and moved them up and down like she was giving a hand job to an abnormally large penis, “You know, phallic-shaped buildings. Ohh, yeah, I do love me some building. That’s it, baby, work my building.”
I grabbed her wrists stopping her and glanced around to make sure her friend, Evaleen, the one who let us use Mimir’s lawyer and conference room, didn’t walk in.
“Jesus, Aria. What are you, a teenager?”
“No, I’m twenty-nine but in my heart, I’m a horny eighteen-year-old.” She winked at me.
My cock went hard instantly. The way she was so casual and free with sex and her artistic talent . . . she made me want to do things to her body I only fantasized about. Things that she might not like.
I cleared my throat, dropping her wrists. “Yes, I own the building.”
She jumped up from the chair and threw her arms open. “That’s wonderful, Alex! Now you can do whatever changes you want.”
Aria stood there, her arms still wide and I knew she wanted to give me a hug. I wanted to do that too, but something stopped me. The same thing that stopped me from going up to her in that gallery when I first noticed her years ago.
I nodded. “Yes, I can pick one of your drawings now. Maybe even tear down the wall and make the room bigger.”
My mind raced with ideas. I felt like a child let loose in an amusement park with no one there. Any ride free to enjoy but which to pick first? My gaze fell to her breasts.
“So, no hug then?” Aria’s lips ticked up.
“We should keep this professional. How we started off meeting wasn’t right. I want to keep things on track,” I said as I focused on gathering the paperwork.
I was such a liar. Of course, I wanted to hug her. I wanted to do lots of things to her, but if she ever found out the truth about me I know I would lose her forever. I’d rather have Aria for a short time in my life than not at all.
“Fair enough. Let’s at least shake on it.”
Aria pushed her hand out. Setting the papers down, I turned in my seat but didn’t stand. Staring at her fingers my imagination went wild. Thoughts of those digits pressing into me, pulling and using me for their pleasure.
Just shaking her hand was a summit to climb but I had to do it. She already thought I was odd being a recluse. I didn’t want to add to it by being too afraid to touch her.
“Of course.” I slid my fingers across her palm. Her skin as smooth and warm as I remembered.
Maybe even softer than before. I wondered if I firmed my grip, would she give?
“There, now was that so hard?” I noticed her eyes dip to where I was hard.
She knew. Aria wasn’t stupid, she could tell I wanted her. That would mean one thing. She was going to try. Aria was going to give. Give me what she knew I wanted.
