Jaxson, swoon. Sigh. Eyelash flutters. Sigh. <<-- My emotions as I read the book. I feel like I need a Jaxson in my life. He can be an asshole, but he also knows when to back off or when a compliment is due. And when he compliments… Swoon.

OMG! I loved this book! I think it was my favorite of the three in this amazing series of strong women in men’s roles. 

In Hard to Forget we meet Delaney, a bad-ass, feisty bodyguard. She is constantly trying to prove to the men on her team that she is as good as they are. With the support and help from her boss, she gets to do just that when she lands her first big case, Jaxson. 

“Is that an ‘I forgive you tor trying to eat my penis’ gift?” I mutter.”

Jaxson is a rich, cocky playboy. He owns a hotel chain and lives to work. Unfortunately, being in the wrong place at the wrong time has him in a dangerous position and needing protection. He is one of the first to doubt having a woman as a bodyguard and taunts Delaney to know end. 

“You’re not afraid of me, are you , kitten?”

“Afraid?” I snort. “I’ve seen more penises than I can count, thank you very much.”

Of course, the sexual tension builds between the two and finally explodes in a hot way! But is Laney willing to risk her job for a manwhore? Or will Jaxson change his ways? You will have to read this amazing book and find out! You will not be disappointed! It is funny, sassy, sexy, and full of action. I loved reading every minute and consumed it quickly! I can’t wait for more from Ms. Jewel!

Fast Cars. Hot Men. Sexy, Hard to Break Women! SOLD! Signed, Sealed and Delivered! Since discovering Bella Jewel, I’ve never once been disappointed in her writing. 

Hard to Break was, for me, a totally different read and I loved it!! I keep thinking about Tazen Watts and his sexy as HELL body and cars. And Quinn, who is the perfect strong, pixie-like woman and will do anything for the ones she loves—which includes her shop. When Tazen comes barreling into Quinn’s life, it’s no holds barred, down and dirty, hot cars and hotter men fun! 

This is part of a series of standalones and for the first time I found myself wanting MORE! More Tazen and Quinn. More about the guys at the shop and what happens both before and after! The characters are so fun that I’m having a hard time walking away from them!

I am really enjoying this new series that Bella Jewel has come up with. I am intrigued by the women in men’s roles and in Hard to Break we get to see Quinn as a mechanic. 

Quinn grew up working on cars. She runs her father’s garage when he is no longer able to. She has a wonderfully loyal team working with her and helping her through life and the tough times. However, a wrench is thrown into her plans when her garage gets sold out from under her.

Tazen Watts is a huge star in the car world. Everybody knows him and his work on custom cars. To him, business is business and he wanted that garage.

However, the connection between Quinn and Tazen is instant, even though neither of them wants to admit it, especially with the way they met. It doesn’t stop them from noticing one another.

“Skilled, mechanic hands. I shudder. That’s so damned hot it makes heat rush between my legs. There is nothing better than watching a man under the hood of a car, working with his hands.”

Especially when that man is Tazen; a hot, muscled mechanic who sure knows how to use his hands, not only on cars, but on a woman as well. 

The banter between Tazen and Quinn is funny. I loved how feisty Quinn is and how much she challenged Tazen. And when they finally give in, it is hot! 

“Need you, baby, you have no fucking idea how much I need you right now. I’m going to bend you over Trent’s old Mustang and fuck you so hard you’ll forget your own name.”

I am a huge Bella Jewel fan and yet again she didn’t disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to the third in this series!

Hard to Fight by Bella Jewel was, in a word, SPECTACULAR! I loved Raide Knox and his brutish personality, and Grace’s badass, bounty hunter ways. Grace unknowingly runs into Raide before she’s assigned to bring him in and the rest is history, as we say. 

I love the fast-paced, hard hitting, sexy page turner that is Hard to Fight. Sometimes what appears to be very simple on the surface is really very complex, such as Raide. He may be a hot, hunky, brutish man, but underneath that exterior he is full of feelings and regret. Will Grace fall in love? Will they save each other? Get Hard to Fight now and find out!

This book blew me away! There was excitement, love, angst, action and it was all written so beautifully. Not once did I roll my eyes at a cheesy saying or cringe at the story line. I loved it all! 

I was completely surprised by Hard to Fight. When I received this ARC, I was honestly worried about what I might think. I had read the last two books by this author and wasn't able to give them as many stars as I'd like but this one...this one deserved so much more! 

It didn't receive 5 stars only because the ending felt very rushed; I fell in love with these characters and in no way was I wanted the ending to just... end. I wanted to live in their perfect fairy tale for just a little bit longer.
