I love a second chance love story and Captain and Addy's story had me giddy with all the lovey-dovey feelings and rooting for them to get their much deserved HEA!! Be ready to have your heart smashed to pieces, as well as get it repaired piece by piece...but it will take time, so be prepared!!

River Kipling lost the one true love he ever had and from that moment on, he became a shell of himself—not caring what he did in life because the one thing he wanted was forever gone. Addison did what she had not only to save River, but to save herself as well!!

Being able to read the past in both of their POV's had me intrigued, but also helped me to delve deeper into what made them who they were today. Captain had me wanting to smack some sense and love into him, but I realized that the only one that would be able to do that is Addy! They say once you've found your soulmate, no one can ever replace him/her, and that is true of Addy! After ten years, her only love is her daughter, Franny, whom I. Freaking. Loved to pieces!!

I was rooting for Captain and Addy to finally get their much needed HEA because they have been to hell and back!! I will say, their story was my favorite one and the perfect one to close this series! You will fall in love with Captain, Addy and Franny's story just like I did, and it will help you to appreciate your loved ones! Thank you, Ms. Glines! <3

I can always count on Abbi to take me away to a place where there are cute, Southern boys, adorable, sweet girls and a good mix of drama mixed throughout. When You're Back is the second book in this mini-series, yet it interweaves the characters from Ms. Glines’ previous books in a laidback Texas setting.

Mase and Reese are still cute as can be but this time around there are new family issues and some sketchy competition.

River "Captain" Kipling.....wooooo, you sneaky little hottie! With his man bun and broody mystery, most didn't care for him but I disagree. And he just got more interesting as the story developed.

"I can change your world, too, sweetheart. But I'll wait my turn."

Aye, aye Captain.

Everyone, I mean, EVERYONE hates the character Nan from the previous books and now we meet Aida. Needy, annoying, selfish Aida. Nan 2.0. When You’re Back is a nice, easy read with an interesting twist. My favorite quote:

"I wasn't sure which was worse, loving and losing or not ever knowing that kind of love at all."

I am a huge fan of the Rosemary Beach series, and You Were Mine did not disappoint! I read it in one sitting, cover to cover. I laughed and cried right along with Bethy and Tripp, through the flashbacks of their summer of love and the present turmoil they found themselves living in. Bethy truly blames herself for a lot of things that have happened over the past eight years. Tripp just wants Bethy to be “Bethy” again—along with Bethy’s best friends, Blaire, Harlow, and Della.

Throughout the book, the story of Tripp and Bethy is revealed to their friends and they are so supportive of their relationship. You can’t help but root for them to find their way back to each other and to believe, that a love that began eight years ago, is still there waiting to come back up to the surface, if only Tripp and Bethy allow it to happen.

I can’t recommend this latest installment enough - I LOVED it! If you haven’t read the rest of the series, I highly recommend starting at the beginning, because while this book could be considered a stand-alone, you really need to start at the beginning to fully appreciate all that these characters have gone through together.
