I don’t think there is anything else I would want in a man. The chemistry between Holland Kirk and Dax Spencer is off the charts and burns white hot. From the streets of NOLA to the history of the two, and all the twists and turns that occurred in their relationship, we are headed full steam ahead towards disaster… or are we? 

This winding road, which brings us one step closer to solving the puzzle of a much larger conspiracy involving all the men—Zach, Gabe, Connor and Dax—kept me turning pages at an insanely rapid rate. I was on a quest to figure out the whodunnit’s and the why’s of the mystery, but the extreme, integral relationships of all the characters kept me on my toes. 

I’m so in love with the characters, the plot, the ever-evolving story line, I sit on the precipice of a cliff, constantly waiting for what happens next. As the words flow effortlessly, I’m able to visualize the scenes on a movie real in my brain. So, who will be your Dax?

After cutting all ties, Dax is thrust back into Holland's life when more details of the conspiracy surrounding the deaths of some of the Perfect Gentlemen’s loved ones come to light.

Holland is an NCIS agent stationed in New Orleans, and all current clues point Dax in that direction. Dax doesn't realize Holland's been keeping a secret from him for all this time—one that could prove deadly. As Dax and Holland get reacquainted, they can't deny their feelings, but as more details of the conspiracy are revealed, will Dax and Holland survive long enough to truly reunite?

Man, oh man, I love this series. I cannot get enough to of Dax, Zack, Connor, Roman and Gabe! And I adore strong-minded, determined female leads—Holland is amazing, and so is Dax. I love the two of them together and was heartbroken when circumstances split them apart. I found myself silently cheering for them to work it all out—I had to keep turning the pages to find out where things between them ended up, because it could have gone either way. Now I'm dying to read Roman and Gus’ story!

Love amidst secrets….

I love this series that is all about friendship, love and sex (and the freedom to explore both). This outing is no exception as Amy Slaten is exploring her boundaries and desires at Sanctum, a club that is all about doing just that.

“Now that I’m single I intend to be as skanky as possible. I’m serious. I want to tear through some dicks.”

Amy has had to deal with so much, including a father who ruled her whole life for way too long. Despite her upbringing (or maybe because of it), she is compassionate, funny, and honest. Even her ex-husband loves her. Determined to do the right thing in business, she is going forward in complete contrast to how things worked in the family company for so long. 

Flynn Adler knows all about the cutthroat world of business, and sees Amy as anything but an ethical business person. Their companies have been at loggerheads for years and underhanded dealings have been par for the course while their fathers were at the helms. Partnered with Amy in a club training class, he realizes who she is, and he is going to have to fight himself and her to keep aloof and distant. She is nothing like he thought she would be despite the fact she is the enemy. Being Dom to her sub is going to stretch him emotionally in a way he never saw coming…

Coming back to Sanctum is always a treat, and Amy and Flynn’s story was a wonderful blend of emotion, sex and intrigue. I’m not a big fan of secrets, especially when the reasons for it are questionable, but the characters and their struggles were so real that I couldn’t help becoming fully invested in the story. Amy and Flynn definitely had chemistry, and how the truth slowly comes out, while their relationship is developing in and out of Sanctum, had me glued to the story from start to finish.

After almost a dozen stories in this series, I’m still nowhere near ready to leave Sanctum!

Cool, calm and professional… and sexy in leathers…

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Kai Ferguson! Okay, proverbial hands. I can still wish, can’t I? Kai is cool, almost too cool, but very capable, and caring from a distance. While he prided himself on his self-control, Sanctum was a place he could let loose the dark side of himself. I knew there was hidden depths and they certainly came out to play here.

Enter Kori Williamson. Beautiful and smart, she could have written the book on professionalism. She may be a lot like him on the surface but she liked vanilla, which meant she was not someone he could be interested in. Not everything is as it seems, though, as Kori keeps her past and much of herself a secret. When Kai’s brother enters the world of Sanctum, both Kai and Kori are going to be thrown into situations that will require honesty above all else. In and out of the dungeon… Secrets will need to be revealed—their lives may depend on it…

Whew, I’m still catching my breath! This author knows how to blend action and intrigue with love and sex to create a whirlwind story from start to finish. Kai is panty-melting and heart-stopping as he comes out of his shell in the face of family, and love. When these two start to open up about what their true desires are the heat builds and builds to an incredibly, hot climax. No pun intended. 

If you haven’t read this series before you may be a bit lost with the number of characters, and who they are to each other. You will want to start at the beginning as each story builds to make a complete picture. This instalment is all about Kai and Kori but there’s so much more. Surprises continue and, given this is number ten in the series, that’s a testament to an author that keeps my attention. Sexy and suspenseful, this is a story to mull and savor…

I loved the interconnection with all of Gabe’s friends, who date back to the time spent in boarding school at the Creighton Academy. They know each other—their actions and reactions that which only lifelong friendships can foster. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
