Interview With Rade Lazic

 

Some of you may recognize this sexy man as Rome Archer, sexy, stubborn, broken soldier from Jay Crownover’s Marked Men series. And/or as cocky, dirty mouthed, artist with paint and cons Spencer Shrike from JA Huss book Guns (spinoff of the Rook + Ronin series). But who is Rade Lazic?

 

He is a Serbian native and now lives in Vienna, Austria. Some things we can already conclude before talking to Rade; he is Magic Mike Sexy, (I'm pretty sure he should get a call to appear in the second movie) his eyes are hypnotizing, he has some of the most lickable abs and a couple of perfectly placed tattoos you’d want to lick as well!

 

So let’s find out just how did Rade break into modeling, his take on romance and just how naughty his mind is hmmm....

 

BASIC BACKGROUND/CAREER BASED

1. How did you get your start into modeling?

 

Rade: It was by accident. One fashion stylist from Serbia had noticed me. I had done one editorial for him and business offers started to come along after that.

 

2. Best piece of advice you have ever been given?

Rade: “Stay as you are no matter what happens!”

 

3. Most memorable modeling experience/highlight to date?

Rade: My recent show for Bata Spasojevic on Belgrade fashion week

 

4. Where do you see yourself in modelling in 5 years?

Rade: I am already satisfied with the things that I have accomplished in modeling, I would like to keep it like that.

 

5. Would you ever pose nude for a magazine?

Rade: Depends….on the magazine, who is the photographer etc. There is also that financial matter as well

6. Have you read either book you are on the cover for (Rome by Jay Crownover or Guns by JA Huss) or at the least the blurb? If so, based on the synopsis which character out of Rome or Spencer would you say you most relate to?
  

Rade: Considering the fact I’m living in Austria, I’m still waiting for my copy…but I think that Rome would be my answer. I know both book’s stories in short.

 

7. For the book Guns, the story of Spencer Shrike who builds motorcycles, have you ever ridden a motorcycle?

Rade: I have a plan to buy a motorcycle

**Yes I am picturing him in full leather getup with open jacket, shirtless (licking lips, we need a picture of this in real life!)

8. Since you have done a couple of book covers, would you say you like to read? What is your favorite book (or genre of reading material)?

Rade: Of course I like to read. Psycho-thrillers are my favorite genre

Rade: No

***Just what I figured. With his looks why would he need to use a pick up line. I mean it’s not like us women would comprehend what he is saying because we would be too busy drooling and in awe that this gorgeous man is speaking to us :D “uhh Hi my name is…..” that is about as far as I’d like to think I’d get but in reality I’d probably just get out “uhh” lol

13. Most embarrassing thing you have ever done?

Rade: Once when I was on my way back home from the club, I realized I was wearing some woman’s jacket

 

14. Would you describe Love as - Chemical, Intellectual, Spiritual, or Completely Undefinable ?

Rade: Intellect and Chemical based

15. Hair and or eye color preference for a woman?

Rade: Green eyes stand out to me but hair color is not so important

I don’t about you ladies but when reading and after finishing a book I may scope out guys on pinterest or tumblr or facebook, heck who am I kidding, I look on all of them to find the guy I imagine in my head as the hero of the story.
 

By now we have all found some favorite Fitness Models out there that make us drool and/or just make us smile when we see their daily posts. But don’t you enjoy being introduced and or discovering new models? Well do we have a treat for you :D
 

There is a new guy on the scene and his name is Miles Logan! Ladies, not only is this man eye candy, he is a down right adorable, respectful and genuinely all-out nice guy.
 

We all like to look at book teasers right? Yet nowadays we have to be careful not to step on anyone toes when using their pictures, so that is how I stumbled upon this hottie. Biting my nails I reached out to ask permission to use his picture for a book teaser. My biggest fear with models, okay well hot guys in general, is being let down when they are consumed by “Machoism” aka “I'm too sexy for my pants syndrome”. So needless to say I was in awe and melted by Mile’s kindness and willingness to allow the use of his pictures.

What I found was that Miles Logan is damn straight too sexy for his pants. He is also so humble and focused on sharing his fitness knowledge with others that he doesn’t exhibit an ounce of cockiness, rather he is appreciative for any and every opportunity thrown his way!

GMB: Hi Miles, thanks again for being on board for the interview!

 

Miles: No I should be thanking y’all! I’ve gotten a lot of attention since we came in contact and I’m still new to the scene. I’m game. This sounds like a lot of fun!

 

GMB: Okay, the big question us ladies here at Give Me Books are wondering is how old are you?

 

Miles: I am 26. Lol

 

GMB: Is it a shocker if I say you look younger than that lol

 

Miles: Lol I get that a lot. Especially if I shave ha!

 

GMB: So what inspired you to be so passionate about your fitness? And how did you get into modelling?

 

Miles: It's funny but I swear this is true story. When I was 20 years old a girl I really liked broke up with me. So I said I'll show her, I'm gonna look good. And 6 years later here I am. Lol

GMB: Aww that is one way to motivate yourself! You realize that story right there will have so many girls gushing for you lol. I'm sure you are thankful for the lifestyle it encouraged you to adopt but I'm also sure you learned you don't have to change yourself for people to like you ;)

What is your ultimate goal for your fitness/modeling career? If you could snatch any endorsement deal what would you choose?

 

Miles: Oh yes I agree. But it got me started so I'm actually very thankful for her. Haha but my ultimate goal would to be doin it on a professional level. Not for tha attention but because I would have a career instead of a hobby. Then I would be doin what I love every day and be able to motivate people on a much higher level.

What truly makes Interview with a Master stand out is that not only it is told in Jonah’s point of view but rather the way he tells his story.  Jonah does not give you a standard interview of what people expect or interpret what the BDSM lifestyle consists of.  He gives Leticia an interview of a lifetime which is raw, honest and straight to the point. He doesn’t give you bullshit answers but the TRUTH!! The straightforwardness of his answers in the interview will truly capture your attention and you will want to know more about Jonah Noble. Personally speaking, I found reading a man’s point of view on the BDSM lifestyle more interesting.

 

 

The way Mr. Luke was able to capture Jonah and tells his story was done so beautifully.  I wouldn’t say this is your typical traditional erotica BDSM book. So if you are looking for a red room of pain, well don’t. There is none. This book is about Master Jonah and his rules. His rules of what a Dom/Sub relationship is like. His rules of punishment. His rules and the way he likes to do it. At the end of the book, I was left holding my breath and wanted more of Jonah Noble. I did not want the interview to end. If you are expecting a happily ever after, there is none. Mr. Luke will leave you shocked at the end and have you screaming at your kindle, WHY!!   So, I am hoping that there will be a book 2 and Mr. Luke will continue the beautiful development of Jonah and Leticia.

Is there going to be a book 2?

Book 2 all depends on reader response and reviews. It was always my intention to write just one book. I always intended the book to end the way it did. However when bloggers started messaging asking, and then insisting on a follow up I was forced to reconsider my plan. At this stage I have no plot for a second book, but if the reviews are good and readers seem to want more of Jonah and Leticia's story I would certainly consider writing book 2. 

What is the biggest misconception of the BDSM lifestyle?

 

I think Jonah covers that pretty well in the book - his opinion anyhow. I am not any authority on the lifestyle and I don't think I have an opinion worth listening to.

Why do you think Jonah chose Leticia to continue interviewing him.. what made her different?

 

That's a good question! More than anything else I think Jonah saw something special in Leticia - a resolve and an inner strength behind her initial nervousness when they first met.

 

 

 

Jason Luke enjoyed several years involved in the BDSM lifestyle - but he is quick to point out that his experiences don't qualify him as an expert, any more than knowing how to drive a car makes him a qualified mechanic. 'Interview with a Master' is a novel about how one man became a Master. The book is a work of fiction, but Jason has drawn heavily on encounters from his own real life. He won't say which parts of the book are fictionalised, and which parts are auto-biographical.
