Ryke Meadows, meet Daisy Calloway ... she’s all grown up.

Twenty-five-year-old Ryke Meadows knows he’s hard to love. With a billion-dollar inheritance, a track-star resume, and an alpha-male personality—he redefines the term likable asshole. But he’s not living to make friends. Or enemies. He just wants to free climb three of the toughest mountains in Yosemite without drama or interruption.

And then he receives a distressed call from a girl in Paris—a girl that he has never been allowed to have.

Daisy Calloway is eighteen. Finally. With her newfound independence, she can say goodbye to her overbearing mother and continue her modeling career. Next stop, Paris. Fashion Week begins with a bang, and Daisy uncovers the ugly reality of the industry. She wants to prove to her family that she can live on her own, but when everything spirals out of control, she turns to Ryke to keep her secrets.

As Daisy struggles to make sense of this new world and her freedom, she pushes the limits and fearlessly rides the edge. Ryke knows there’s deep hurt beneath every impulsive action. He must keep up with Daisy, and if he lets her go, her favorite motto—“live as if you’ll die today”—may just come true.
***Authors' Note*** Hothouse Flower is a spin-off of the Addicted series. Kiss the Sky is required before reading, and we strongly recommend reading the Addicted series before this spin-off.

*****5++ I F*CKING LOVE RYKE STARS*****

I absolutely fucking LOVE LOVE Hothouse Flower!!! Who am I kidding...I LOVE LOVE the Addicted Series and the Calloway Sister spin-offs!! And to top it off, I freaking love Krista & Becca Ritchie. <3 The Ritchie sisters are fucking amazeball talented and brilliant writers. All their books have been a solid 5 star books!! I find myself devouring their books in one sitting. Time doesn't seem to exist because I can get lost with Lo, Lily, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke. Their writings are flawless, the storylines are original, and their characters are fucking raw and beautiful. If I could sum up HOTHOUSE FLOWER, I would simply tell you it's Fucking Amazing!!! <3 <3 <3 It’s Perfection!

Hothouse Flower was my most anticipated read of 2014. Seriously I was counting down the days till I could get my needy ahem greedy hands on this book. So when I was gifted a copy of Hothouse Flower by the fabulous Ritchie sisters a couple of hours before the release, I may have done a happy dance and dove right into reading this book. For the next three hours, Ryke, Daisy and the addicted gang were the only thing swirling in my head.

When I read Ricochet, I instantly became addicted to RYKE MEADOWS. Right off the bat, I fell in love with his dirty mouth, his excessive use of Fucks and profanity, his brotherly love and charm. There was something about Ryke Meadows that intrigued me. I wanted to know more about him. So when I saw that there was a connection with Daisy Calloway, I knew I wanted these two to hook up.  Kiss the Sky sealed the deal for me when I saw how beautiful, raw and honest Daisy and Ryke's friendship was. Call it whatever you want, these two were fucking perfect for each other and it was a matter of time before Ryke finally caved in.

So thank heavens, Daisy is FINALLY 18!!  Woohoo!! She's finally living on her own and all grown up!!! Baby Calloway is ready to spread her wings! She will be traveling to Paris on her own without her mother supervising her.  And Ryke is 25 years old. There is still an age gap but that doesn't really bother me.  I was so ready for these two best friends to finally see how perfect they were for each other.

Let me just tell you, the chemistry between Ryke and Daisy was off the charts. These two completed one another. They were each other's missing piece. Daisy and Ryke's HEA was one of hell of a ride. What started off as friendship, became something more. It was a deeper connection that didn't need many words to describe. It was felt. It was in the air. The moment these two laid eyes on each other..it was like Magic. When Ryke finally expressed his feelings and desires to Daisy, I wanted to shout to the rooftops..FINALLY!!!! I had a big fat grin on my face when they shared one hell of a passionate kiss. I cried, laughed and was over the moon happy for Daisy and Ryke. They were a couple that I strongly rooted for. I wanted them to get their HEA as much as Lo and Lily. Personally, I felt after all that hurt Daisy and Ryke experienced growing up, these two HAD to get HEA!

Without giving much away of the storyline, Hothouse Flower is a book that needs to be experienced. The storyline was just brutally honest and heartfelt. I was captivated from the very first page to the last page. I didn't want the story to end. What I love about the Ritchie sisters, they were able to incorporate all the characters into the storyline without stealing the limelight and focus off Daisy and Ryke.  I absolutely love the friendship and family love Lo, Lily, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke have for one another. You can't help but wish you could be adopted and be part of this group. Hothouse Flower was not only about TRANSFORMATION but it was also a JOURNEY.  A journey of rediscovering who you were, a journey of family and  friendship, a journey of acceptance, and most importantly a journey of love.

Would I recommend the Addicted Series and spin-offs? The answer would be YES!!!  The Addicted Series will be hands down my favorite series!! My one suggestion is to start from the very beginning. The entire series tells one continuous story and you will get a better understanding of all the main characters within each book. Never have I read a book where all the characters felt so REAL to me. Let me just say the Ritchie sisters know how to write. Their writing is just simply beautiful and captivating. It's perfection in my opinion. Their books seem to get better and better.  Krista and Becca have perfected incorporating angst, love, romance, friendship and family into all their books. So if you want to read books where the storyline is original, the emotions are raw and have a cast of characters who will steal and capture your heart, then go read the Addicted Series.

Krista Ritchie has a clone...or someone who looks exactly like her. If she's not writing books with her twin sister, she's pouring over entertainment news and ingesting copious amounts of pop culture. She likes tennis, that thing called the TV, and beating Becca (her clone) on Sega Genesis. She created YA Book Exchange to combat her book buying addiction and started Nawanda Files, a YA Book Blog that features books into movies news, to share her love for all things bookish. Oh, and she does something called science. Whatever that is. Krista & Becca Ritchie write New Adult books that make you cringe, gasp, and go ooh-la-la. (If you do that sort of thing.) They are currently working on the spin-offs and final books in the Addicted series.

Daisy’s POV

He’s too messy for you, Daisy, my mom would tell me. Add that to: He has no job. He’s living off his trust fund. All he does is climb mountains and ride his motorcycle. He looks mad all the time. He’s related to that witch Sara Hale. He doesn’t even talk to his father. (My mom is Team Jonathan Hale in the Hale feud, mostly because he’s my father’s bff.) Ryke’s related to Sara bitchy Hale. (That’s her main selling point.) Oh and he’s too old for you.

♥♥♥♥♥ 6+ Je t'aime Stars ♥♥♥♥♥

**Kiss The Sky by Krista & Becca Ritchie  is a spin-off  of the Addicted Series and can be read as a standalone but I highly encourage and recommend everyone to read the series first. Trust me, you would not be disappointed in reading the Addicted Series since I’m beyond addicted and love this series so hard. This is one series and spin-off where I truly love love all the characters!!! <3 <3 To say I was beyond excited when I found out the Ritchie sisters were doing a spin-off focusing on Connor and Rose is an understatement, I was f**king jumping up and down for joy and maybe there was a little happy dance thrown into the mix. HAHA!!  So when I saw an ARC of Kiss the Sky appeared in my email inbox from the Ritchie sisters, I knew for sure without a doubt that this book was going to be devoured in one sitting.  Being avid fans of the Ritchie sisters, I knew this book would be nothing but the best and I can 100% say that they did not disappoint me. I love love this book so hard!!!  **

As I mentioned earlier, I highly encourage and recommend everyone to read the series first since it would give you a better insight on all the characters of the Addicted Series. (Lily, Loren, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke) Kiss the Sky picks off where it last left off on Addicted For Now, with the backlash of the news of Lo and Lily’s addiction. The image of Lily Calloway has been tarnished by the media since they are now aware of her sex addictions hence bringing down the stocks of Fizzle Corporation and Calloway Couture.  So what does big sis, Rose do..she takes charge and tries to revamp the image of her family when a TV production company proposes a REALITY TV show that will focus on our beloved characters of Lily, Lo, Rose Connor, Daisy and Ryke..

If you are a pop culture junkie like myself, then you should be aware of an MTV show called The REAL WORLD. If not, then I would suggest you go YouTube a Real World episode to get an idea of what the show is about. (As someone who used to watch the show, the older seasons were prolly the best since the new ones are just blah blah) Anyways, let me refresh your memory on the opening lines of THE REAL WORLD:  “This is the true story... of seven strangers... picked to live in a house...work together and have their lives taped... to find out what happens... when people stop being polite... and start getting real...The Real World”  Sounds familiar, right??!! Well instead of six strangers living together in one house, how about the gang of the Addicted series living together in one household for six months and have their lives taped. Yes, you got it right!!  Lily, the sex addict;Loren, the alcoholic; Rose, the virgin; Connor, the smartass; Daisy, the daredevil; and Ryke, the jackass.  Didn’t I say it’s like the Real World and they had seven people living together…. well readers let me introduced you to the seventh roommate, Scott Van Wright! Since production labeled everyone, Scott is brought into the mix to stir up some trouble and bring in the ratings for the show. Scott is labeled as the  Heartthrob but in my opinion he should be labeled as the Douchebag.

Reality TV...is anything reality when scenes and words are edited out and where production plans out events and trips.  Rose, who is fully aware of what this TV show would mean to her fashion life and family’s image, she goes full steam ahead. With cameras placed everywhere around the house, a communal bathroom, microphones attached to them and an ass of a producer/roommate Scott lingering around..nothing is safe and secret!! So let the chaos and craziness begin!! The only off place where the cameras are not allowed to film is in their bedrooms and bathroom. As a family who likes their privacy, things are about to get REAL when viewers are watching and judging them.  There is one thing you must know about Rose Calloway, you don’t mess with her family. I can simply describe her as a pitbull, who has no problem letting you know her wrath so you don’t want to cross that line especially when it comes to her sisters, Lily and Daisy. Being an independent and strong-willed woman, only one man can stand up to Rose Calloway and that is no other than her boyfriend, Richard Connor Cobalt.

If you thought Lily and Lo are the only couple who can worm their way into your hearts, then I must inform you, Rose and Connor gives them a run for their money. Without a doubt, I think they also earned the title to be called OTP (One True Pairing). <3  Being an avid fan of Lo and Ryke, I can say that I have also fallen in love with Connor. In Kiss the Sky, my outlook on Connor has totally changed. What can I say about Connor Cobalt, he is wealthy, intelligent, a smart-ass, a CEO in training, and the other half of Rose Calloway. But behind the smartass, lies a man who loves Rose Calloway for who she is..  He is the perfect balance to Rose’s strong personality since he continues to challenge her.

Rose and Connor’s chemistry is just amazeballs!! I freaking adore this couple so much from their playful witty banters, talks, games and of course their conversations in French!!!  Parlez-vous français? Yes, you heard me right!! Connor and Rose likes to speak in French when they want to have private conversation. Let me just tell you, whenever Connor speaks French to Rose, he has no problem reminding her that she is tu es à moi (he is hers aka Translation: you’re mine).  What I love about this couple is how playful they are. Readers finally get to see this new side to Rose and Connor. I think its freaking adorable that they quote famous literature, poets, and writers. And their playful side comes out when they play Fuck, Marry, Kill association game..  As for the sexual chemistry, HOLY HELL and WOW!!!  All I can say is that Connor does not fail in igniting your Kindle. Be prepared to sigh and swoon for Connor Cobalt. The man really knows what he wants and that is Rose Calloway.

If I can shout out to the mountains to go read Kiss the Sky and the Addicted series, then I would happily do it because thats how much I LOVE these books and the authors!! I truly believe Krista and Becca Ritchie, are f**cking talented and brilliant.  They were able to write and introduce us  to characters that everyone will fall in love with. Behind all the crazy shenanigans, Lily, Lo, Rose, Connor, Daisy, and Ryke are just f**cking perfection. They are real honest raw characters who all have flaws.  Besides having awesome characters in their books, Krista and Becca’s story-lines are fresh and unique. The Ritchie sisters are able to incorporate modern and pop culture.  To end my review and rave of Kiss the Sky, let me end it with this tagline:

“This is the true story... of six friends: Lily, Lo, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke... picked to live in a house...work together and have their lives taped... to find out what happens... when people stop being polite... and start getting addicted...Kiss the Sky

What can I say that I haven’t reiterate and emphasize, oh yeah go READ THIS BOOK!!! IT IS A MUST READ AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

On that note, my countdown for Hothouse Flower begins!!!! Can it be March already? I seriously can’t wait for Ryke and Daisy’s story since I seriously fell in love with them in Ricochet. For all you Ryke and Daisy fans, there are plenty of Ryke of Daisy interactions.. **squeal**
