Say it ain't so... This suspenseful and arresting series CAN'T be over. Not when I am so in love with it, with the Sloan siblings and their loved ones, and with the way Lauren Blakely shapes her book-world with a deft hand and a large helping of mystery... 

And what mystery it was!! I could tell you more, but why risk spoiling it for you? If you've been following this series of inter-connected stories, you'll know that Sinful Love is the fourth book...and the one that holds the final, shocking answers. All I will say is this:

Oh. My. Fucking. God. 

That'll have to do, because I want your mouth to drop open and your eyes to widen as mine did when I uncovered the truth. Know this though—the way Ms. Blakely tied this series together was breathtaking, surprising, heart-pounding and completely engaging. 

And utterly swoonworthy, thanks to one Michael Sloan. That man, I swear. He's the very definition of panty-melting, and yet I find myself wanting to award him some classier compliments—I think he would appreciate it. He's devilishly handsome; a romantic and dashing man with a fast, smooth (dirty) mouth and all the right moves. His devotion and capacity to love and care for those around him is remarkable, as is the way he recognizes his own failings. 

Which were, to my eyes, few and far between. He was wholly deserving of his spectacular second chance at love with his what if? girl, Annalise, and it made my sappy heart ache that he'd lost so much—even as he edged ever closer to gaining even more. 

Like closure. True love. THE TRUTH. Oh, lord. There's just SO MUCH to love about Sinful Love. The beautiful rekindling of Michael and Annalise's love (I could probably dedicate paragraphs to how their relationship, their separation, their chemistry and their obstacles pulled a frown to my forehead and put a flutter in my belly). The fast-paced ending that had me manically flipping page after page. The sweet, funny and sexy banter that Ms. Blakely is so damn good at. The secondary characters I enjoyed catching up with—or mentally matchmaking. 

And, of course, that mystery. The suspense-ridden puzzle that kept me guessing, speculating, wondering and theorizing. While I can't (read: don't want to) believe the Sinful Nights has reached its conclusion, I CAN believe that Ms. Blakely made said conclusion perfectly sexy, enjoyably twisty and sublimely wonderful. I wouldn’t expect anything less from one of my very favorite authors.

Oh Ms. Blakely, you sure saved the best for last in this series! Michael was by far my favorite Sloan brother! He is protective, loving, and downright swoon-worthy! And this story wrapped up the entire series perfectly!

Michael Sloan is the oldest brother, and has always taken care of everyone else. He likes his life in black and white, and rarely lets anyone in. After his father was killed by his mother, he just has to move on anyway he can. 

“That’s the only way through everything. Keep in living–keep on feeling.”

His first love, Annalise, was always on his mind, even when he found out she'd moved on. But when she re-enters his life, alone and scared, the chemistry between them is no longer dormant. It is hot as hell!

“Don’t think I’m selfish. I’m not,” she said, whispering in his ear. “I want to taste you. I want you in my mouth. I want to feel you in my throat.”

Annalise is a beautiful, funny, sassy French woman. Michael was her first love as well, but when they drifted apart due to time and distance, she moved on. However, one look at Michael has her falling all over again. 

“Now. The word echoed. Reminding her that now was all anyone ever had. This moment. Make the most of it.”

The two of them together were perfection! I loved how giving and caring Michael was, and how he helped Annalise through a ridiculously tough time. I loved how we got to see the entire Sloan clan, as well as got the ending to their story. This was another fantastic read from Ms. Blakely, and I can’t wait for more!

God, this series is amazing. Sexy. Suspenseful. Mysterious. Each book building until we get to the stunning conclusion. And in this final installment we are rewarded with the story of Michael and Annalise. A second chance for them to find happiness together—no matter the hurdles that are in their way. 

I could provide an easy snapshot review of the story but I’m not going to because you need—no, you MUST read this series. You must experience the ties that bind a family together through the toughest of times, the love that is unfurled when you find your “one” and the second chance you don’t let pass you by when you have the opportunity to love again. 

I absolutely loved every bit of Michael and Annalise’s story. Every. Bit. From the flash backs of their past, to their present, I couldn’t get enough of their story. Sinful Love is the dénouement of this series. The icing on the cake. The cherry on the top of the sundae. A sweetly satisfying ending that has stuck with me since I finished reading it—so much so that that I plan to re-read the entire series soon to experience it all again.

Ha, I was definitely LONGING to get my hands on Sinful Longing, especially given the way that Sinful Desire ended—with a little cliffhangery moment that propelled the overarching mystery of this series forward…and maybe a little sideways. But also because…COLIN. 

Colin Sloan hasn't always been the stand-up guy he is now. Now, he's a good guy in a bad boy’s body—tatted, tempting, smart, kind, and all kinds of sinful in the sack. And he wants Elle Mariano. But I am also thrilled that each book gives us a chance to fall in love with a new Sloan sibling, and this brother, Colin… *Swoon* Man alive, is this man sexy! Good with numbers, his fingers, words, his tongue, Elle, in bed. You get the idea, right? Colin Sloan, my (and yours, I would venture to suggest) newest, dirty-talking book boyfriend. 

Sinful Longing didn't pick up exactly where I expected it to—and I actually really appreciated that. Ms. Blakely instead took us back a little further, to moments that paralleled Sophie and Ryan's story, and used it to establish a connection between this new couple, making their love story sweeter, more believable, more rewarding. And all the while ramping up the mystery surrounding Dora and the secrets she kept, the lies she told and the misdeeds she carried out... 

And oh, what a mystery it is!! I'm impressed with how Ms. Blakely is bringing this story together. I loved how she worked Elle into the story—making her a part of the suspense, demonstrating her loyalty, her passion and her resolve. I loved that we got to see what Ryan and Sophie were up to, and got to know a little more about Michael (cannot WAIT for Sinful Love, FYI). And I loved that we got a doozy of a reveal at the very end…only to be left hanging. 

Did I mention that I cannot wait for Michael’s book? That I'd LOVE to get my hands on it, right now? Because I can't, and I would. *Sigh* Back to my LONGING, I guess.

Holy hell… just when I didn’t think this Sinful Nights series could get any steamier, enter Colin Sloan and Elle Mariano. Two of the hottest dirty talkers I’ve read. Whoa. And while they smolder in between the sheets, they’re both equally amazing fully clothed.

Colin is trying to make up for his past mistakes. Questionable choices he made as a teen led him down some very bad paths with equally very bad people. But he’s now clean and sober—working hard and trying to woo one woman beyond a super sexy friends-with-benefits agreement to something more substantial. Something real.

But Elle’s doesn’t want to announce to the world the relationship status she shares with Colin—she’s not quite ready for that step. She’s haunted by her past and cannot allow her present to mess up the future life she’s set up for herself. Especially now when there is so much hanging in the balance for both Colin and Elle. 

I just love this series. It’s suspenseful, funny, sexy, smart, sassy… much like both Colin and Elle. They’re amazing together but also separately. Colin is brilliant with his math acuity, Elle with running the youth center. Both so willing to help others, that they sometimes put their own needs second. 

It was great spending more time with Ryan and Sophie, and Michael. And the boys from the youth center, Rex and Marcus. I’m anxiously awaiting book four, Michael’s story, not just because of the epic declaration at the end of Sinful Longing, but because I think Michael’s going to be put on his ass in Sinful Love. I. CANNOT. WAIT.

Sinful Longing is the third book in the Sinful Nights series and this one focused on Colin and Elle. It also included all of the other Sloans, and gave us some more answers to the family drama. I loved it!

Colin is the tattooed one, the one with a shady past, the bad boy, but he turned his life around and now has a heart of gold. He only wants want is best for those in his life and spends time volunteering with the at-risk youth at the center Elle runs. He is a math superstar and works in finance. 

Elle is the owner of at-risk youth center. She also plays roller derby—talk about kick-ass! She has a son who is her whole world. She is drawn to the forbidden and can’t stay away from Colin, even though she knows she should. 

“So you came here tonight already wanting me?” he asked as he stroked her skin.

“More than I should,” she murmured.

The Queen of dirty talkers is back. And in this book it isn’t just Colin, though he is a master at it. But Elle, sweet, feisty, dirty Elle loves hearing her man talk dirty to her and giving it right back to him.

“You think about me fucking you?

“Fucking your hand. Fucking your face. Fucking your dick. I picture it all.”

The two of them together are hot as hell. They can’t keep their hands off each other and some of these places they get it on are highly creative. 

I thoroughly enjoyed this story! I loved Elle and her fierceness. I loved Colin and his protectiveness. I loved seeing all of the Sloans as well as all of the boys at the center. Alex, Camille, and Elle’s mom rounded out the cast perfectly. I am anxiously awaiting Michael’s story and the end of this crazy secret-filled Sloan family drama.

Say what? A happy cliffhanger? Yup! Ms. Blakely wraps up Ryan and Sophie's story neatly, perfectly, sweetly, and then drops a new twist which left me mouth agape and demanding the next book—Colin's book—ASAFP. As soon as fucking possible, because between that ending and the little taste of Colin's love life, I'm on the edge of my seat. 

I truly adored Sinful Desire; from all angles, from start to finish, it captivated me, turned me on, puzzled and pleased me and left me wanting Sophie's wardrobe, Ryan's dirty words, and answers. Damn it, I. Want. Answers! (And maybe also a man with a green tie…)

Damn! Lauren really turned up the heat in this book! It was scorching! But it was also tender and sweet. I don’t think there could have been a more perfect title for this book. It was sinful; full of so much hotness, I needed a cold shower. And you felt so much desire between Sophie and Ryan that it was intense. 

“This is what you wanted, Sophie. You wanted to test me. To see what I’d do. And I’m doing it. Because you wanted to know how it feels to have this perfect fucking flesh owned by a man who loves taking charge of you, and who is consumed with spanking this gorgeous ass.”

Sophie is a beautiful, super smart woman. She is really good at coding and made millions through it. Now she is a philanthropist, helping numerous charities in Vegas. One look at Ryan Sloan and the sparks were flying. 

“Sophie and this man were two elements smashing into each other and setting off sparks. There was no other explanation, because she’d never felt this kind of intense desire for someone she’d just met.”

Ryan is a hot, dominant owner of a security firm. He has had a crazy life throughout his childhood and because of that he doesn’t let anyone in besides his siblings and grandparents. Until there was Sophie.

This book was the perfect blend of romance and sex. The sparks between Sophie and Ryan could be felt from my kindle and their connection was magnetic. When they were together it was hot as hell. But it was also so much more—their connection went beyond physical and finally allowed Ryan to open up. 

I loved everything about this book! I loved the family bond with both the Sloans and Winstons. I loved Sophie’s relationship with Holden. I loved how giving and patient and kind Sophie was. I also loved how this story had so much drama in it. The Sloan family is still uncovering secrets from 18 years ago and that bomb dropped at the end, I wasn’t expecting that! I can’t wait to find out more about it in Colin and Elle’s story!

There's something about Sweet Sinful Nights, the raunchy, suspenseful, deep first book in Lauren Blakely's new series, that's talking to me. And it's telling me to KEEP READING. Except I just read the last page and turned my Kindle off, and now I'm at a bit of a loss. Because I can't keep reading. It's over and I didn't want it to end...

After ten long years, seeing Shannon Paige-Prince again is like coming home for Brent Nichols. He let her go once before, and lost her for far too long. This time around, it's going to be different. He's going to be different. He just has to prove it to her. 

Ten years should have been enough time for Shannon to protect her heart from Brent, from the bitter disappointment of watching him walk away. But clearly it wasn't, because from the moment she sees him again, her desire reignites. Stronger than ever. 

It's sweet to be home in his arms, but her past and secrets have the potential to turn something sinfully pleasurable into another shattering heartbreak. She can see that he's different...but will the end result be? 

Thank GOD this is a series, and that book two is only a few short months away. I'm not sure, with all of these engaging characters, that I could have been happy with just one story, even if it had been wrapped up with a neat, little bow. Ms. Blakely has teed up her new Sinful Nights series perfectly here, giving the reader a wonderful, hopeful, emotional book for Clay's baby brother, Brent and the girl he let get away, while introducing new characters and an overarching story that'll keep me coming back for more. And more. And more again. 

There's such beauty in this second chance romance; in the easy humor, in the playful interactions which easily and believably morph into serious discussions, in the down-and-dirty sex, in the many sweet (and sinful) examples of love that are present here. And most particularly, in the hope that Ms. Blakely and her characters offer up -- hope that they can be better, hope that the past doesn't have to define them and their futures, hope that mistakes can be fixed and regrets forgotten. 

Sweet Sinful Nights put me through my paces, absolutely. I wasn't expecting to cry but I was expecting to laugh; I did both. I wasn't expecting to spend the first handful of chapters frowning and aching but I was expecting to get to the ending with a smile. And yes, again, I did both. 

And while I was expecting to want more from this series, I wasn't expecting to finish with a handful of questions, a strong desire to know Shannon's family better and an urge to tell Ms. Blakely off for making me wait for book two. Okay, I might have expected to mad about the waiting...but only because I knew from very early on that I wouldn't want to say goodbye to these characters. Not even for a little while.

In this book we meet Brent and Shannon who, ten years after a major breakup, fate brings back together. What ensues is some smoking hot sexy times, some laugh-out-loud funny banter, and just a bit of mystery thrown in! 

Brent's dedication to his work, his amazing love for Shannon and his always funny, carefree attitude sends him to the top of my book boyfriend list! I'm ready for more Lauren!! ❤

Holy Effin’ Hotness!! Lauren sure knows how to write some sexy, dirty, sinful scenes! But this story was so much more than that as well. It was the story of second chances and true love. And I loved every minute of it!

This is the story of Brent Nichols, Clay’s brother, who we met briefly before. He met his “one,” Shannon, when he was in college and thought for sure they would be together forever. However, when he made a stupid decision, their relationship ended. Ten years later, in a business encounter, the two meet again. 

“Now, he had the opportunity for a second chance. The game was on, and he was going balls to the wall to win his woman back.”

The chemistry between these two was scorching and they could not keep their hands off one another! It was hot as hell, yet sweet at the same time. They were like magnets to each other. 

“If I put my hand on you right now how hard would your dick be?” “Rock fucking hard,” he said in a growl.”

Brent and Shannon grew up completely different, but it was what worked so well for them. Brent was Shannon’s calm, her happy, her sunshine. 

“Brent was her sweet, sinful addiction, and she rationalized that it was much healthier to need him than the bottle or a needle.”

I absolutely loved this story. There were so many emotions brought out while reading. Shannon has had a tough life and watching her relieve some of her past was heartbreaking. But Brent always seemed to be there with some laughs and dirty talk to make her feel better. I loved the family bond that Shannon had with her three brothers and grandmother, and I adored seeing Clay and Julia once again. 

I can’t wait to read Ryan’s story next and continue to learn the mystery with Shannon’s mom.
