Sometimes wrong can feel oh so right . . .
Jenna Lacombe needs complete control, whether it's in the streets . . . or between the sheets. So when she sets out on a solo road trip to visit her family in New Orleans, she's beyond annoyed that the infuriatingly sexy Jack Oliver wants to hitch a ride with her. Ever since they shared a wild night together last year, he's been trying to strip away her defenses one by one. He claims he's just coming along to keep her safe-but what's not safe for her is prolonged exposure to the tattooed hottie.
Jack can't get Jenna out from under his skin. She makes him feel alive again after his old life nearly destroyed him-and losing her is not an option. Now Jack's troubles are catching up to him, and he's forced to return to his hometown in Louisiana. But when his secrets put them both in harm's way, Jenna will have to figure out how far she's willing to let love in . . . and how much she already has.

Sometimes I read through an entire book without feeling the need to highlight a single, solitary passage. I just don't feel as though there are moments, lines, dialogue that I want to refer back to. To remember. This was NOT one of those books. I highlighted the hell out of it. Because, damn it, there was so much in it that resonated with me. Amused me. Appealed to me.
Jenna Lacombe has spent months trying to forget her night with Jack Oliver and all the things he made her feel. Jenna wants - needs - to be in control and she has a plan. Jack does not factor into that plan. When family duty calls and Jenna packs up for a solo road trip to NOLA, the last thing she wants is to be joined by the man that gets under her skin.
Jack's family has called him back to the place he never wanted to return to - home. To get there, he hitches a ride with the woman that appeals to him in every way, even though she's intent on keeping him at arms length.
As Jack is drawn back into the life he thought he'd escaped, Jenna starts to realise those pesky feelings aren't going away. Now, she has to decide if Jack is all wrong for her, or all right....
This story surprised me. It was funnier than I expected - I laughed out loud on a number of occasions - and sweeter than I envisioned - Jack had beautiful words for his girl - and the end result was a book that I loved reading and hated finishing. True, there were moments when I would have happily smacked Jenna upside the head for her willful blindness and indecision. And I felt the story lines with their respective families (particularly Jack's), were almost too quickly and neatly resolved. But neither of those things stopped me from enjoying this book. Why? Because it was beautifully written. I loved the way Chelsea Fine weaved Jenna and Jack's history into the story, allowing the short timeframe for their trip (and their HEA) to be believable. She used words, both loving and harsh, to illustrate feelings and create tension. She made the initially combative relationship seem honest and raw.
In the end, this wasn't a story about Jack's (or Jenna's) family. It was about love. Believing in it. Giving it. Accepting it. Trusting it. And just letting it happen. And that made this book a highlight - and highlightable.
Right Kind of Wrong is the third book in the Finding Fate series and can be read standalone. No cliffhanger. 4.5 stars.
Let me start off by saying that this was one of those books that once you start reading you do not want to put it down! You will read it cover to cover in one sitting because you HAVE to know what happened.
The excitement and sizzling chemistry between these two is HOT!! The constant banter between Jack and Jenna is hilarious, sweet, and emotional. You will wish you were riding in the car with them. Jack is on a mission to break down Jenna's high walls that she has built around her heart. He will stop at nothing to get her to open up and trust him.
Jenna fight's Jack tooth and nail and refuses to let Jack in. But, as they say, when you try to fight what the heart wants it's a losing battle because what the heart wants the heart gets.
This beautiful book will have you smiling, laughing and hoping for the best for Jack and Jenna. You don't want to miss this awesome read. 4 1/2 stars.
This is not Book 1 in the series, but this CAN be read as a standalone.
I really liked Jack and Jenna. I love that Jack doesn’t take Jenna’s crap, and vice versa. They have a true friendship, even if Jack can’t get her to admit how she truly feels. I would have loved to be in the car during the trip. They are both so easy to relate to—it’s easy to not to want to put this book down until the end.
There is also another story taking place while they are LA, and WOW, I did not expect it. Not that it is that unusual, but you just don’t anticipate it occurring out of the characters past. That being said, don’t try to figure it out! The author truly pulled the rabbit out of the hat with this and I had no clue! I loved it.

~ Review by Devlynn
Chelsea lives in Phoenix, Arizona, where she spends most of her time writing stories, painting murals, and avoiding housework at all costs. She's ridiculously bad at doing dishes and claims to be allergic to laundry. Her obsessions include: superheroes, coffee, sleeping-in, and crazy socks. She lives with her husband and two children, who graciously tolerate her inability to resist teenage drama on TV and her complete lack of skill in the kitchen.
