Review ~ Deception by Aleatha Romig

Title: Deception
Series: Infidelity #3
Author: Aleatha Romig
Release Date: May 3, 2016

It all began in Del Mar, a chance meeting with a single rule--one week only.

Or did it?

Lennox ‘Nox’ Demetri and Alexandria ‘Charli’ Collins had every intention of following their agreement but rules are made to be broken. In CUNNING they are reunited with Nox setting down new rules for the game and Charli having no choice but to follow them.

Now, once again, the game has changed. Nox and Charli’s hot sensual encounter has grown into something more but it is threatened with secrets and regrets. Is it their love and intense sexual chemistry that’s pushing them together or something darker, a puppetmaster behind the scenes pulling the strings on their love affair?

Shadowy villains lurk around each corner and everyone is suspect as Nox’s and Charli's pasts collide with the present and threaten to compel them back to their predestined fates.

Can deals brokered in the past be negated by something as pure as love and as steamy as the attraction shared by Nox and Charli? Or was it all a deception—starting with that very first meeting?

As the world of Infidelity continues so does Nox and Charli’s story. When you enter the world of Aleatha Romig being prepared for the unthinkable is what every reader should do.

Lies. Deceit. Twist. Turns. Love. Trust. Hunger.

There comes a moment when I’m reading a book written by Ms. Romig that she provides a detail, and I finally start putting some pieces together. I find myself wanting to make a flow chart and drawing pictures. I read her books like I’m working a puzzle and I’m always missing a crucial piece of information that I need. This is why I love her! Her books are full of detail and so epic. You never know what’s coming when you flip the next page.

Nox is amazing. He ticks all the boxes for book boyfriend of the year. He’s rich, hot, totally alpha and devoted. He’s like sex on a stick. Yes, he is!! Charli is evolving to a heroine that you can’t help but adore and love. She’s strong and sassy, determined and smart. Together they are the ultimate couple.

Let’s not forget about Savannah. Or Brooklyn. Or what happens when our pasts don’t stay in the past.

Deception is the perfect blend of dark and twisty, and love and light. I can’t wait for what comes next for Nox and Charli!

The sweet torture continues…

This is the third in the Infidelity series and it keeps true to the first books in tension, mystery, and sweet love and suspense.

Nox Demetri and Charli Collins have not had a straight-forward relationship. Their first meeting was shrouded in secrets and the plots are only thickening. Did I say plots as in plural? Oh yes, there are many, many threads winding through this spellbinding story of complicated family and love…

There are a few things that I know to be true. The chemistry been Nox and Charli continues to burn and flame even as they struggle with trust between them. Their families are not helping one little bit either, as the story bounces from different points in the past, as well as different points of view. Characters are jumping sideways and backwards and forwards on this tantalizing, plot-twisty train. Are things becoming clearer? Not one little bit! And this isn’t a short read, even though the full-length read flies by as the turns keep coming at breakneck speed.

Who should they trust? Are friends actually enemies? Are enemies actually not what they appear to be? Or are the good guys really the villains? Confusing? Definitely! But equally entertaining as the momentum doesn’t falter at all through another steady, nail-biting saunter to a tantalizingly out of reach conclusion.

There are two more, yes, two more, books in this series that has me once again waiting with bated breath….
