Review - Wicked Fall by Sawyer Bennett

Title: Wicked Fall
Series: The Wicked Horse #1
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Release Date: July 28, 2015

Never in your wildest dreams could you begin to imagine all the filthy and depraved things that go on inside The Wicked Horse. Step inside and Woolf Jennings will make every one of your dirty fantasies come true.

He’s covered in a facade of deception. An enticing blend of multi-millionaire and hot-as-hell Wyoming rancher, those that think they know Woolf Jennings admire his abilities to preside as CEO of his family’s cattle and oil empire. But only a privileged few truly understand what fuels the glitter of depravity in those gorgeous blue eyes. Only a few know he’s opened up a sinfully erotic and private sex club named The Wicked Horse right at the base of the beautiful Teton Mountain range.

Sweet Callie Hayes has returned home to Wyoming and is looking forward to starting her life over again. After a night of impetuosity, she’s managed to put herself right in Woolf’s line of sight… the man who she foolishly offered up her virginity to years ago and was flatly turned down.

Now Woolf is seeing that Callie is all grown up and has a kinky side to her that leaves him as confused as it does turned on. Worse yet, both Callie’s dirty desires and sweet heart are getting under his skin, and making Woolf question everything he’s ever believed about himself.

So if you read the Last Call series (and why wouldn’t you have, it was awesome!) you would have met Tenn’s younger brother, Woolf already. And since you have already read the series, you know how hot Tenn was… Well, Woolf blew him away. Sorry Tenn, your brother is my new favorite!

So Woolf… I don’t even know where to start with your sexy ass. How about the fact you are rich as hell, own a ranch and still love to get on your horse and be a rancher? Or the fact you own a secret sex club? Or the fact that you are one hot mo-fo? You ladies see where I am going with this?

Callie is sweet and “innocent”, with a wild streak. She is willing to try anything now that she is out of her old relationship. When she steps into the club that Woolf owns behind the night club, her mind is blown and her panties are soaked. When she decides she wants to try new things, not even Woolf can say no to her, and it’s kind of funny to watch her get her way with him.

Moral of the story… BUY THIS BOOK! Your panties will be wet, you will be uncomfortable until you can scratch the itch, and you will find yourself squirming in public, but it is worth all of that and so much more! I can’t wait for book two and all I have to say is, “Sawyer, write faster!!”

*HOWLS* <<—because what other response is there when the hero is a dirty-talking, kinky, depraved, sex club owner named Woolf? NONE. No other response. Well, taking your clothes off would probably work too... And silo-sex. Yup, silo-sex DEFINITELY works.

Seeing sweet, innocent Callie Hayes back in Wyoming is doing something to Woolf Jennings. Despite his success as CEO of JennCo, his family’s sprawling ranching empire, he’s prided himself on opening and operating The Wicked Horse, a place where the kinky and dirty, like him, can do depraved things to one another privately, for a substantial fee. Callie doesn’t fit into that world, into HIS world, any more now than she did years ago when he turned away from her.

But the Callie that’s back in town has changed. Or she’s trying to. And this new Callie, the one that’s looking to explore, she’s got him wondering what if... What if he doesn’t fit in his own world anymore? What if what he always thought he wanted isn’t what he needs? What if he lets himself fall?

Here’s a few highlights for you from my reading of Wicked Fall:
• “Oh my, that’s...that’s a visual.”
• “I probably shouldn’t be reading this in public.”
• “I need $50,000 and I need it now. Although, until fiction becomes reality, maybe I should just use that money on batteries. And new panties.”
• “Highlighting THAT for later. And that. *wipes brow* And that. Jesus, I need to take notes!”
• “Oh...oh, wow. And I thought that other thing was quite the visual *gulps*”
• “Jesus, I REALLY shouldn’t be reading this in public.”

So, yeah. This one was hotter-than-fuck, but you know the sexiest thing? The emotional connection you could feel between Woolf and his Callie. The way they tried to understand each other. The compromising – although I am not denying that the compromising positions were deliciously, decadently sexy too. The best moments, the realest and rawest moments, came when they were together, talking, learning, laughing and yeah, fucking.

I love the way Sawyer Bennett expresses herself. It’s funny and it’s light and sometimes, it’s super, duper dirty. But she’s also not afraid to throw that extra in there to make you think about a story, about a character, about the why of a situation. She gives good secondary character too (BRIDGER!). I am extra excited (in more ways than one, if you know what I mean...) for more from The Wicked Horse series. Based on that epilogue, me thinks that book two will have me more than howling...
