Review - My Kind of Wonderful by Jill Shalvis

Title: My Kind of Wonderful
Series: Cedar Ridge #2
Author: Jill Shalvis
Release Date: December 22, 2015

UNEXPECTED AND UNDENIABLE...

Bailey Moore has an agenda: skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina. Now that she has a second lease on life, she's determined not to miss a thing. What she doesn't realize is that item #1 comes with a six-foot-one ski god hot enough to melt a polar ice cap. She doesn't want to miss out on him either, but Hudson Kincaid isn't the type of guy to love and let go. And as gorgeous as Cedar Ridge is, she's not planning to stick around.

As head of ski patrol at his family's resort, Hud thinks he's seen it all. But never has he run into someone like Bailey. She might look delicate, but her attitude is all firecracker. And her infectious joy touches something deep within him that he's been missing far too long. Now he'll just have to convince Bailey to take a chance on her biggest adventure yet . . . something rare and all kinds of wonderful.

Bailey Moore is on a mission—she has places to see, things to do, and get the hell out of her way while she crosses them off her list. Given a second lease on life, she’s not stopping until she checks off every one. And low and behold, her number one comes with a six-foot-one, hot as sin ski god, otherwise known as Hudson Kincaid. Bailey’s certainly going to enjoy sampling Hud’s goods while she’s there, but she’s not sticking around—she’s going to knock things off her “To Do” list which now includes Hud.

Ever responsible, Hud is head of ski patrol at his family’s resort and also one of the town’s police officers. He’s seen a lot of things during his time on the mountain and as an officer of the law, but he’s never come across the likes of one Bailey Moore. Hud can’t win against the infectious draw of Bailey. She’s awakened something within him he didn’t realize he’d been missing. Now all Hud needs to do is convince Bailey to veer from her list for another great adventure—something even more wonderful.

Sigh. This sweet, sexy, funny, hot romance was just what I needed. I loved both Hudson and Bailey as well as the rest of Hud’s crazy family! Both Hud and Bailey have put their lives on hold under trying circumstances and they’re both gun-shy, but when they finally get their act together, it’s magic.

I loved every minute of my time in Cedar Ridge and I can’t wait to return!
