Release Blitz - Urban Love Prophecy by Jessica Ingro

Urban Love Prophecy Front Cover
Title: Urban Love Prophecy
Author: Jessica Ingro
Release Date: June 13, 2014

This isn’t a story about a bad boy and a girl from the right side of the tracks. This is the story of a man and a woman discovering love is blind to how you grew up, who your friends are, and where you live. Love sees only the heart and soul of whom it belongs to.

Someone once said that the best way to predict the future is to invent it.

As a boy, Jayson Santiago made a vow to leave behind the projects where he grew up. He planned to conquer the world and find a woman who could not only hold it down, but also hold him up. Now he’s the reigning king of hip-hop, and while he has the professional success he always wanted, he’s missing the personal success he craves.

Victoria Watson is the daughter of an oil tycoon who never wanted for anything. Circumstances have forced her out of her protective bubble and into the real world, where she struggles to make ends meet while finding a way to get back the only important thing in her life.

Will they be able to make Jayson’s prophecy come true? Or will they be pushed past their breaking point? It isn’t easy to keep focused on the heart and soul of the one you love when you’re always being tested.

Then again, the best things in life are always worth fighting for...

~ Part II (On the Run) Jay-Z featuring Beyoncé

Cue in the song Crazy in Love from Beyonce because Jessica Ingro has got me crazy in love with her newest release, Urban Love Prophecy. Who needs a perfect love story? Who wants that prince charming on the white horse? Lets be real, the happily ever after is something everyone wants but not all love stories are perfect. There is no such thing as a perfect life so what makes you think there is a perfect love story. Urban Love Prophecy is no ordinary love story. This isn’t about a bad boy falling in love with a rich girl from the other side of the tracks. No, this is a story of a man falling in love with his IT GIRL! A story that shows love has no boundaries. A love that is blind. A love that is crazy. And a love that is down right raw, passionate, and has no excuses. Shakespeare once said “if music be the food of love, play on,” then join me as we listen to the tracks of love of Jayson Santiago and Victoria Watson.

Jayson “Jay” Santiago grew up in the projects of Harlem and always dreamt up escaping and making a life for himself. Well fast forward to the present, Jay is a successful music record owner, producer, hip hop star, and entrepreneur. With endless amount of money, lets face it Mr. Jay has no problems in the women department and basically he is a player.

Victoria “Tori” Watson is that girl, the privileged girl who lived a sheltered life and comes from money. You know the saying looks can be deceiving, well nothing in Tori’s life is perfect. One moment Tori has money and suddenly the other shoe drops when everything is ripped from her by her evil manipulative step-mom. In an instant, Tori is left with nothing and left to fend for herself while her step-mom prevents her from visiting her ill and dying father. With no options left, Tori takes on a waitressing job at strip club to support herself. Well what happens when a hip hop mogul meets the girl from the right side of the tracks? Well you got yourself an Urban Love Story!!

Who wants that perfect love story anyways? So what if you are the boy  from the other side of the tracks?  So what if the world don’t think they match?  Jay and Tori’s love story is one crazy love soundtrack. No one is perfect especially Jay. Their sexual attractions is raw, primal, and explosive. They can’t seem to stay away from each other. They are drunk in love.  For Jay and Tori, their explosive love is not just happened. The chemistry between these two is off the charts HOT! In the words of Jay, they did a lot of smashing and it was oozing with sexiness.

Jessica did something different with Urban Love Prophecy. She gave us the HEA book but showed us a realistic, flawed, and crazy love that knows no bounds. Jay and Tori’s relationship is in your face pure raw love. People make mistakes and sometimes you have to forgive. Love isn’t perfect. It showcased flawed. imperfect, uncut, and real characters who are struggling to find a balance in their complicated yet loving relationship. Urban Love Prophecy highlights that love is not finding the perfect person but learning to seeing an imperfect person perfectly.

~ Crazy In Love-Beyonce
Urban Love Prophecy will open up your mind and take a chance of the unknown possibilities of what is truly right and wrong. Is there really a wrong answer or a right one when it comes to love? Aren’t people allowed to make mistakes and be given a second chance? Who has the right to tell you if your love is wrong? Love is beautiful and at the same time crazy.

This book may not your typical love story but what is. At the end of the day,  I think this quote sums it up best:

“LOVE isn't always perfect. It isn't a fairytale or a storybook. And it doesn't always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on & never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, and impossible to live without. Love is work, but most of all, LOVE is realizing that every hour, every minute, every second was WORTH it because YOU DID IT TOGETHER.” - Unknown

“You do know you’re beautiful, right? And your mom would be proud to see what a special woman you’ve become,” he whispered in my ear. When he was done speaking, he pulled back fractionally and stared into my eyes. Blue meeting green in an effort to communicate how genuine that statement was for him.
My breath hitched, and I fought hard to swallow past the lump that was building in my throat. He said the most perfect things at just the right time. In that moment, I really wanted this man beyond just in my bedroom. I wanted him in my life.
He leaned away and settled on my side of the booth, propping his foot up on the opposite side and stretching his arm along the back of the seat.
“What other songs did you like? Or is it presumptuous of me to assume you liked more than one song on that CD?” I was grateful for the lighter topic, since the chemistry between us was starting to feel a bit combustible.
“Not at all. I liked most of them, but ‘The Struggle’ spoke to me. I felt like you gave me a glimpse inside you. It was humbling to be given that opportunity. To hear how you struggled to be the son your mother would be proud of and the man that a woman would want to spend her life with. The man a daughter would want to call father. It was really very beautiful.”
I watched as something passed over his face that was both breathtaking and raw. Before I had a chance to put my finger on what it was, it was gone. Replaced with a serious look that made me cringe a little. I wanted the playful Jay back. Not the one that appeared to be lost in thoughts, and not all of them good.
“Although I have to say the song about fucking your best friend’s girl one night and then hitting an entire sorority the next was just as inspirational,” I deadpanned. “How did you possibly fit them in all in one night? Inquiring minds want to know.” I winked and hoped that would break the mood. It worked when he threw a fry from my plate at me.
“Brat.” He laughed with a half grin on his face.
“Really, though, is that true? Did you really have sex with that many women in the span of one night?”
He looked uncomfortable for a split second before answering. “Maybe not all of them, but there were quite a few.”
“Huh. So you’re a stallion then?” Growing up with horses I knew that stallions were often bred more than once in a day. If this story was true, I could imagine him going all night like a real thoroughbred. That thought was a little too much for my brain to comprehend.
“I haven’t had any complaints. And I’m certainly hung like one.”
“You know, they say the men who brag the most are the ones that shouldn’t be bragging.”
“Oh, Tori. Now you’re testing me. If you want me to show you, baby, it can be arranged.”
