Review - Hush by E.K. Blair

Title: Hush
Series: Black Lotus #3
Author: E.K. Blair
Release Date: April 12, 2016

I've come to learn there is no escaping your past.

It doesn't matter what you do, it will follow like a phantom--haunting you--reminding you.

**Due to the dark and explicit nature of this book, it is recommended for mature audiences only as some scenes may be particularly disturbing**

To say that Hush is one of my most anticipated reads ever is an understatement. I could not wait to get my hands on this book and to get the end of Declan and Elizabeth’s fucked up relationship! This book was everything I expected and more! I couldn’t put it down!

“I’m happiest when I’m with you – always. Even in our darkness, I’m happier than what I am without you.”

Oh Declan, you couldn’t be a more perfect man for Elizabeth. You accept her for what she is and take away her pain. You were there every step of her emotional, heart wrenching journey and the reason that she lives.

“Touch me.”
“I’ll hurt you.”
“It’s okay,” she says so fucking sweetly. “Give me your pain so you don’t have to feel it.”

Elizabeth, I have loved you and I have hated you. No person should ever endure the terror you lived, and I understand why you became such a monster at times. I was so glad for you in this book—to finally get the missing piece you needed.

E.K. Blair, this was a perfect ending to this series! I honestly couldn’t see it ending any other way and I applaud you for staying true to this twisted story of revenge and love. I don’t want to say too much and risk spoilers so I will leave you with: Seriously people, read this book, read this entire series; you will never be the same!!
