I loved Tessa Teevan's Instigation! It had practically everything I love in my books: romance, mystery, danger, deception, and very hot sexy times. It was just awesome!!
I really liked Brie as the heroine. Granted, she didn't have very good judgment when it came to Adrian, but I understand why she didn't. I loved how once she decided to really get control of her life again and leave him, she stuck to that and had only occasional moments of doubt. Brie is a strong, brave woman; it just took the help of Rafe and believing in herself to find that woman again. She will make you proud and won't disappoint!
Now, Rafe might be hiding something, but he's so hot and sexy and great with Brie that I forgive him for all of that! I actually really loved him! He's protective, patient, understanding, thoughtful, caring, sweet, and exactly what Brie needs right now. Rafe knows how to treat a woman and he'll be stealing your heart in no time.
Instigation will take you on a roller coaster ride of ups and downs and twists and turns. It will keep you on your toes and guessing what's going to happen next. You'll yell and rage and melt and ache. It's a beautiful, intriguing story and I can't wait to see what happens next!!
Instigation ends in a cliffhanger, so no HEA yet, and it is mostly told from Brie's POV, but we do hear from Rafe a few times too.
